The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model system can be played in three modes: TV mode, played on a TV while the system is docked; handheld mode, when the Joy-Con controllers are attached for portable play; and tabletop mode for on-the-go multiplayer gaming sessions. I prefer the switch itself in the Splatoon one but the Pokemon dock is cooler so I voted for the that. Nintendo Switch can transform to suit your situation, so you can play the games you want, no matter how busy life may be. I’m curious as to how the Switch will recognise the Joy-Con given that they are (presumably/anecdotally) flagged with a single colour, unless of course this is to be rectified via a system update. All of those designs look excellent on the new system, with tracks like Rainbow Road and Electrodrome being among many stand-outs on the slightly larger OLED screen.

But I think the Splatoon one is better, the colours and designs blend in well with the switch, whereas the Pokémon one looks too bold.

It's much better than the XX one, in our eyes, but does it actually benefit from having everything and the kitchen sink thrown at it? Especially in TATE mode (but standard orientation also works), the crisp colours and extremely convincing black of the OLED screen — which will make the sprites-on-black-background of any 8-bit classic jump out at you — can truly make it feel like you're playing a miniaturised arcade version of Donkey Kong. I can't help laugh as I read through the comments that there was another Switch Pro rumour out there, and it was quantified by a "new" model set for release today. So, when it comes to the Switch (Nintendo's second best-selling console of all time) there are a boatload of them. See how those Joy-Con are actually two-tone, blending between yellow and green on one, blue and purple on the other, both with white, slightly translucent rear sides? The Switch has a lot of shmups, but this classic from Treasure is right up there among the best thanks to its smart concept, stylish visuals and intense challenge. As you can imagine, it helps give some extra 'pop' to the most colourful games in the Switch library.I prefer the Mario one over all of the other ones, but that is just because I prefer to own a custom console that represents my interests, and Mario for me, represents gaming in general. Plus, as the game library grows, it becomes more and more risky for other companies to challenge them. Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. I think I'll Pokemon for the cute design on the back and the warm colour scheme at play but that gradient on the Splatoon one is so good it makes me want the Joy-Cons on their own without having to get a brand new Switch.
