What is the strangest for me is the weight - I mean with just 500 extra grams you would get a Fastfold. We’ve had a few compact strollers over the years, starting with the Maclaren Mark II (nice but doesn’t recline), the Silvercross Jet (great for babies but wobbly with bigger toddlers) and the Babyzen Yoyo (a really good one but bumpy on uneven surfaces). GetGo’s brand-new hood has been crafted using recycled plastic bottles in four new colourways, with a coordinating, double-sided seat liner – featuring one bamboo side, and one soft jersey side.Despite these design glitches, I would still recommend the Micralite ProFold and think that it has a huge amount of great features to offer. The stroller is also really smart, it has a lovely leather bar in front to keep the child safe (and attach any toys to!

I don’t expect the handlebar to be adjustable on a compact stroller but it definitely needs to be longer. For anyone struggling with back issues like myself, its lightweight design means it's easy to shut and open and lift in and out of the car it's a nice height for posture and super light to push around.

In a smaller car, you could rest it on its side in the footwell but you might prefer to leave it in the boot.

The only pushchair I've found to be any good on sand and really uneven surfaces is a Mountain Buggy but these are chunky and definitely not what you'd want in a campervan.
