I'm also well aware of the issues of this game for every system it appears on because, in your own words, it's all over the internet. I'm just saying, based on what I've seen, it doesn't look nearly as bad as you make it out to be. But you do you, man. Ah Jaysus. This is why we need virtual consoles. tekoii Not sure if it's in the European one or not but I think some other KOEI stuff is. I'd say it's worth a punt at a sale price if you're a fan of NG. Wouldn't bother with the digital deluxe version though, you could probably find most of those images through Google anyway! I've been wanting GTA games on Switch since the system first came out so I'm super excited for this! Especially since I haven't played the older GTA games! The report states that a GTA Remastered Trilogy is nearing the end of development, with Switch being a supported platform along with other consoles, PC and even mobile. The games included are Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with the remaster project using a mix of new and old assets through Unreal Engine. NedBundy I think both "sides" of this argument are getting a little silly. Once one side starts getting too unrealistic, the other side feels they need to compensate, but it ends up just making both sides look like idiots living in their own private world away from the rest of us.Although there's a lot of cheats for CJ's on-foot adventures, there's also plenty of codes you can utilise when he gets behind the wheel. Imagine all that money they have made from selling GTA 5 across 7 platforms and all the money from GTA online and Red dead redemption and this is the Trilogy we get? This port — of a game from 2001 — suffers from constant and serious pop-in, with buildings and bushes and passers-by magically appearing all around you as you manoeuvre through its city streets. Worse than this, however, are the other vehicles which tend to materialise right in front of you, giving you virtually no time to avoid them, a problem that directly affects the traversal of the open world here, and one that drains almost all of the fun out of driving — something you tend to do quite a lot of in GTA. People defending these games claiming they're just as bad as the originals seem to be missing the point. First of all, surely a "definitive edition" should improve on the originals. And secondly, the originals weren't anywhere as bad as this new release. Friendly You said that like GTA is the only game that let's you kill or injured innocent people. Games like Saints Row, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, and LA Noire are pretty much the same sometimes even worst. If Nintendo allow these kind of games on their system it won't stop them from allowing games like GTA. If you're not into high violence games you probably shouldn't be playing them but do realize these are not made to promote violence, each game had a story behind the violent nature of its contents. Bon_Kurei I think that the games are still fun, but it's clear that R* could have put so much more effort into this. Also, the framerate issues are just unacceptable, and dramatically decrease the fun factor of the trilogy.Like I said, I never planned on playing it that way, and I’m getting my milage out of handheld. But they deserve the review bombing in this case. Now that is not to say that the PS2 version was not fun and that the remasters would not also be fun if they ran at least as well as the PS2 version. But that is not what we are told we are buying and so any criticisms of how it falls short of what we were promised remain valid. Would it be worth a 4/10 if it were on par with the PS2 version (which the review contends that it is not anyway)? That I don't know. Maybe more a 6-7/10 on account of the broken promises but I'm not sure. I love that this trilogy may be getting a remaster. (Though maybe I'm alone here, but I collectively consider them the full GTA 3 experience and not so much a trilogy exactly, if that makes sense). In fact I'd say it's only Switch players who should pay any attention to the Definitive Edition. Handheld GTA is the only reason for this product to exist.
