I made your sweet freedom baked cheesecake yesterday for the second time. I varied it by adding cocoa, flour and an egg to the basement to make it more of a dough and then putting it in the preheated oven while I prepared the top. I added some cocoa to the cream cheese to make it for Easter and decorated with mini eggs. Xylitol is a polyalcohol, made from corn husks or birch tree chips sold under various brand names (Perfect Sweet etc); is chemically processed and produced mainly in China. *It has been found that Xylitol is poisonous to dogs and they should not be offered scraps of any home made treats with it! Can diabetics use it? Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup is a versatile and healthy alternative to sugar. It is low GL which means it will not cause inflammatory spikes in blood sugar and insulin and it is made from natural ingredients.
