On my clothes it remains a little more fruity sweet. It’s almost like two different scents that smell great together.

What a titillating scent for a breezy summer night. A successful blind buy for me. So glad there’s no patchouli to amplify the vanilla, so it actually works for those who live in warmer climates. It is a dark scent for the evenings, like a creamier, more powdery, more vanillic/sweeter Crystal Noir (EdP) minus the spices, woods and soapy note. I smell the sensual white florals and coconut the most, sweetened by a smooth, powdery vanilla. I own Crystal Noir EdP and have always found it abit too harsh smelling on my skin chemistry, I think I will do well layering these two. Do not overspray this one, the coconut has potential to be overwhelming and smell like cheap car freshener. I’m generally not a fan of coconut in perfumery, but it’s blended well here and really complements the white flowers. I will definitely be wearing this layered with "Vanilla Love" and save my "BO-LP" for special occasions. So after my signature *YSL Manifesto L'ELEXIR* in its gorgeous purple bottle has been discontinued (which broke my heart tbh), I was looking for a new fav that is: I don't find this too mature or matronly. it's not juvenile either. it manages to be flirtatious and classy at the same time. doesn't last long on me but projects more than moderate while it lasts.I believe it smells beautiful and if the idea of a rosey berry with a sweet,gourmand twist seems to be your thing make sure to give it a try. and don't get me started on it's name. what does even The Only One2 means?! the only one can't have a second. it's freaking THE ONLY one! they could choose from a bunch of other better increative names like The Only One Rouge or The Only Girl

It manages to be very sweet but in a fresh, adult and non artificial way (maybe the pear and the iris together?)

On the other hand, I have fallen head over heels with Candy Prada. I happened to see recently that The Scented (Yana) on YouTube just recently discovered Candy Prada and has been surprised by her love of it! It projects like a buttery, soft kettle corn kind of sweet on me, and I have to restrain myself from using it daily. The longevity is decent with it lasting 7hrs on my skin with a moderate silage, it makes me think of being wrapped up in my scarf, coat and boots while walking down a street in Oxford on a cool autumn/winter morning. While its nothing unique or groundbreaking, it does, to me at least, feel classy and elegant with the right amount of sweetness. I also agree with people who say it smells like something from the early 2000s, except I cant quite place what it is.This is not screechy, doesn't burn my eyes (jasmine...euuugh) and is smoother than any of the BO line that I've experienced...with the exception of the "BO-Le Parfum" which I absolutely am addicted to and adore beyond measure. Top notes of sparkling Italian mandarin, crisp green apple accord and golden neroli essence illuminate the radiant floral heart of the fragrance. Notes of dazzling gold orange blossom mingle with the heady sensuality of jasmine absolute, and are softly enveloped by creamy, lush coconut essence, which lends a warm and sunny aura to the scent. Smooth, sweet notes of dark vanilla in the base amplify its addictive quality, underpinned by grounding cedar and cashmere woods. on me its the rich red rose , red berries for sweetness & the violet for that creaminess & the oh so beautiful amber drydown........and its kind of oddly addicting lol :) I can smell some nice warm vanilla the next day, but the frag has not such great lasting power/projection like YSL's purple bottle juce (that I can smell for 2 days on my skin). Sort of tried hard not to like this as I bought too many perfumes I didn’t need another when I just got a bunch and all I wear is Narciso Rouge ! However those notes ,,, how can one say NO to this , violets and cofffee are 2 of my favourite things in life. Iris and pear ,vanilla and patchouli STOP ! This is a must have for me !

I think this one has risen to the top of my most complimented fragrances ever. And on my skin, this one doesn't perform for that long or loud, You have to come into my little personal bubble to smell this. I usually greet my friends with a hug and a kiss on each cheek and it's then when I get the compliments, I doubt people can smell me just by walking past me. And when that hug and kisses happen, I usually hear, "you smell amazing". You know when brands bring out “intense” and “extreme” versions of perfumes and it’s a total lie? This isn’t one of those. It’s intense and it means it. If you prefer to go unnoticed and under the radar, don’t buy this one, it’s got presence. TOO opens with syrupy orange blossom, followed by bold, powdery Parma violets. I get some synthetic, musky pear after a little while, enhancing the sweetness.Pure orange cotton-candy sugar...horrible! I don't know where the rest of the notes in this fragrances composition went, but they're gonzo! All I get from this is heavy candy orange and cotton-candy now....unacceptable. I do not quite understand the negativity for this perfume, i do agree that the name has no selling value, who wants to be the only one but the second? This really is warm and cozy and just plain simple happy. I think this is such a huggable scent, you know? Like I'd love to smell this on someone when I hug them, or for someone to smell it on me when they hug me. This lasts amazingly well, and while I love it on its own, I find that it layers amazingly well with CH Good Girl, or Lancome La Nuit Tresor and my favourite - with Swiss Arabian Casablanca. The woody aspect of the last one especially is the perfect compliment to the sweetness of The Only One.

These are different, but there are similarities with grape-leaning jasmine. TOOI has a more forward sweet-creamy quality among other things. Both have excellent performance, but newer batches of reformulated Alien can be variable. This is so bland and disappointing. I mean, it's ok... it's wearable, but it's so shy and retiring with no character. I figured it might be a fresh take on The One which my mother wore for date nights and special occasions, and when I was a teenager and didn't have special occasion fragrances of my own, I sometimes wore it too. The One has been watered down so much I don't even recognise it anymore, so I wanted to try this one instead. But this is such a boring flanker, and a boring scent in its own right. It smells sweet and watery. I was curious to try it when reviewers described this as a CEO, boss lady signature fragrance. No, it's not... It's not going to offend anyone, but when it comes to inoffensive scents then there are better options, when it comes to Amber Vanillas there are better options, and when it comes to boss lady fragrances then this doesn't even belong in the list but again, there are better options. Will use up my sample by layering, it's so easy to layer because it doesn't have much substance. The Only One Intense is now my signature scent and definitely a compliment getter, especially from boys. It is a perfect balance of everything: Not too sweet, not too strong, not too loud, not too juvenile nor too mature. You can really wear it at any occasion, at any season, without being too much. But you should really love coconut and white flowers.The burnt caramel note emerges as it dries down, rounding out the base, a logical progression from the vanilla-coffee accord. The syrupy florals remain and a cloud of patchouli punctuates it with earthiness as it fades, becoming a sweet musky skin scent. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with a captivating new scent. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. Alluringly feminine and irresistibly seductive, its signature lies in the surprising combination of dazzling gold I’ll need to do a bit more testing to see if I can pull it off in Florida summers. It is much less tropical than I imagined even with the coconut note. The coconut note is close if not the same used in Dolce Garden. It’s not the stand out note here.
