As the trailer states, the film will premiere on February 3, 2023. The movie was originally supposed to be released on February 17th, but the release date was pushed up by two weeks. Shyamalan stated that this was the fastest turnover for any script he has ever written, and that production and filming went by in a flash between April 19th and June 10th, of this year. Fans of anthologies and Christmastime horror get ready for Night of the Missing, which follows a series of disappearances that take place in a small town. It’s a great question. In the late ’80s, nuclear war was one of my biggest fears and something that still really upsets me. I can’t usually watch movies or read books that involve that, because it’s too much for me. Part of Cabin was my fear of the apocalypse. The reason I wanted to leave [the ending] ambiguous was to reinforce the idea that, “Hey, every time you turn on the TV or look at your phone, or look at your feed, it feels like the world is ending.” This is just how we live. Much like the trailer before it, the poster finds us once again at the titular cabin, as Bautista and his small crew of cult followers ready themselves for what they must do. Wielding large weapons, the imposing figures transform the scenic location into something far more terrifying.

Paul Tremblay, author of the source novel, Cabin at the End of the World, commented of this poster for the film, “I dig it. Can’t help but feel like there’s something missing…” It's a truly quirky film, pretty much as you'd expect, it's fairly well paced, has a degree of tension, it just manages to be so different.
