About being repetitive, which game isn't repetitive, at some point or the other, every game becomes repetitive. It’s not an exact replica – the map is nipped and tucked, bringing some landmarks closer together – but on the whole it feels like London, especially key areas like Trafalgar Square and the Palace of Westminster. Or about the game mechanics,it is common sense that if they change the core mechanics,it would not be the same game and people would still complain. The Industrial Revolution unleashes an age of invention, transforming the lives of millions with technologies once thought impossible. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is one such game: it’s playable, but it has some pretty unfortunate graphical glitches which ruin the experience entirely.

I still had plenty of issues, but it was a better game than the version early adopters had despaired with. The latter of which is par for the course in Assassin’s Creed, of course, but by the time I got round to playing it most had been patched out. It's just a small update for the PS4 version of the game, but it should squash the aforementioned graphical bug when you're running Syndicateon PS5 via backwards compatibility.Well, this is a surprise: Assassin's Creed Syndicate has been updated to support 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro. In conclusion Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is an amazing standalone game packed with fun things to do from beginning to end. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate chooses wisely, leaves out multiplayer entirely, and pushes a lot of that baggage into the background, largely freeing itself up to make the most of Victorian London and have fun with sneaking, climbing, and stabbing.

The game also looks great, retaining and building upon the atmospheric environmental touches of Unity. Story missions begin and end very abruptly, instead of smoothly transitioning from the open world - again, GTA V was a masterclass in this. Nevertheless, it's great fun setting the two characters on different paths (I'm maxing out Evie's stealth tree, while I want Jacob to be a full-on tank with combat and "ecosystem" stats). It's not a groundbreaking game, but it's an iteration that better knows how to please the fans of the franchise. This results in a clear villain that you know, understand, and learn about from beginning to end, which is something the series has lacked in its last few entries. Though the combat difficulty is moderate, it is fun and unlike unity it is not to tough or like earlier installments not to easy. If there was better pacing, and more thought put into key moments this could have been a much stronger story.

Yes, it still has its fair share of quirks and foibles, the environment is vast and the quantity of NPCs encountered is remarkable. Missions almost always involve the traditional Assassin’s Creed staples of following, escorting, or killing people and/or stealing items, but Syndicate’s characters and situations do more than enough to stave off boredom. People are flocking to London to participate in this new world, a society that is no longer ruled by monarchs, emperors, politicians, or religion, but by a new common denominator: money.Even I don't like some franchises, but I don't go about spreading fake hatred because I know that to create every game, it require a lot of hardworking people.
