Some might argue that all of these changes that Zowie has made fall into the ‘too little, too late’ category, but I don’t agree with that. I think this C line of mice is a great marriage between Zowie’s core design fundamentals (which is what made them such a loved brand in the first place) and modern mouse tech. What you get here is a very reliable plug and play mouse made for (competitive) shooter games with no frills or distracting elements. It’s not the most groundbreaking piece of equipment I’ve reviewed this year, but it doesn’t have to be and that’s also not what Zowie is aiming for I think. I feel like I can be pretty brief here. The days of gaming mice using sensors that can spin out or have accelerationor any of that nonsense are over. I've been loving the access I've had to so many different kinds of Zowie mice. I started out with large mice thinking my FK1 was too small but after trying some of the smaller mice like the EC2-B and the S2 I definitely prefer the maneuverability I have with these. I cannot exactly decide which mouse I should use, I mainly play FPS and MOBA’s , I wouldn’t mind keeping 2 mice [One for FPS , one for MOBA]

The Benq Zowie S2 Accessories is 2-3 Days now in our store (Call us to know about details of this product). A lot of people (myself included) weren’t really fans of the glossy/matte mixture that Zowie were using on their newer standard models so it’s good to see that they have improved on this coating. I included a picture comparing the S2 almost fresh out of the box to a barely used EC2-B to illustrate this difference. With both coatings in mint condition it’s clear to see that something has changed. The scroll wheel on Zowie mice will always be polarizing. Zowie makes competitive gear for competitive FPS/shooter gamers, and the mouse wheel is specifically designed to have fewer and more defined steps when compared to most other gaming mice for that reason. This is fantastic if you need to perform accurate operations (such as selecting a weapon from a whole row of weapons) with your scroll wheel, but the stiffness and overall feel of the wheel definitely won’t please everyone. Purely for gaming this is a good mouse wheel though, and the middle mouse button is easy and satisfying to press. Zowie is one of the most used brands in the competitive gaming scene. Their mice are tailor-made for (tactical) shooter games, and that shows in their usage numbers. The brand has consistently been on top in our most used lists for games such as CS:GO, which is not a surprise seeing as their most used line (the EC) was co-developed with professional Counter-Strike players. I actually messaged Zowie support prior to publishing the review to make sure and they said nothing has changed so yeah. That said; it’s always possible that Zowie has been streamlining the QC process or making it more stringent, or it could be that some reviewers had a bit worse buttons on their Divinas or something. No mouse is the same of course.He also said that the new divine was good with the claw grip but could also be used as a palm grip but they were not designed mainly for a claw grip. This type of scroll wheel will always be a bit polarizing (some people absolutely love it while others hate it entirely) but I can’t say that it’s badly implemented or anything like that. Build Quality and Cable It's crazy how noticeable a few gram's difference is when aiming with a lighter mouse. So far I like the ZA13 the most since it's small and light enough to give me good maneuverability while maintaining a high-profile shape to fit my hand and give me control when lifting it.” Due to the shorter overall length and smaller size I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this mouse for palm grippers with medium to large hands, but most of this obviously comes down to personal preference so take this section for what it is: a rough guideline. The cable is Zowie’s standard rubber cable, which is pretty flexible and thin. It’s not a shoelace-style cable like some other companies have been putting out recently but I honestly cannot say that I was annoyed by this cable, even after having used multiple of these shoelace mice. It’s not the absolute best cable out there (those lace style cables are undoubtedly more flexible and lighter) but it’s definitely more than decent so you won’t have any real issues with this at all.

Thanks to the larger surface area on the sides of the mouse it’s also really easy to change grips on the fly. That’s not something that I (or most people) do during gaming, but it is a testament to how well this new shape accommodates a wide variety of grip styles. I keep saying it when I review Zowie mice, and it keeps ringing true: the shape is undoubtedly one of Zowie’s major strong suits. TechLand offers you the lowest price of Benq Zowie S2 Accessories: 3,999৳ instead of 8,700৳ regular price. Sensor + Weight: The 3360 has always been flawless for me on all mice using it. I'd categorize this mouse as medium weight, while it isn't as light as I'd like it to be it's still a very balanced weight that I never felt was a hindrance, I really like how it feels after installing a paracord. 8/10

Thanks for the answer. What about the g pro wireless? I do not have a chance to try it in a tech shop in my country -or city at least-. For my hand size and grip styles, that one or the model o could be better? All in all the S2 is yet another great feeling and fitting Zowie mouse so if you feel like the FK line is perhaps a bit too long and flat for you it can be a great idea to try out the S1 or S2. Buttons and Scroll Wheel One of the things Zowie emphasize in their marketing for this product is that they made this mouse shorter to make vertical aiming easier. That’s a bit of an odd thing to single out to me since that entirely depends on your grip style, but this shorter design doesallow for some space between the mouse and your palm (unless you’re a palm gripper obviously) which can make micro adjustments on the vertical axis easier to do so I can kind of see where they’re coming from. Vertical aim or not: I personally think that this is one of their best shapes yet and I like this shorter, more boxy design better than that of the flatter FK if I had to choose.

As is tradition with Zowie mice there is little to note about the S2-C. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not saying that that’s a bad thing. Rather than trying to draw attention by using garish design choices or compromising on the performance of their product by adding unnecessary RGB strips or what have you, Zowie chooses to go for a no-nonsense design. I’ve always appreciated that design decision, even though I’m not really someone who cares about the look of their peripherals. Zowie’s credo when it comes to their gaming products is ‘performance over everything’. The S2 therefore doesn’t have any RGB lighting (except for tiny indicators on the bottom) and it doesn’t require any software at all to use. Everything is done on the mouse itself, and that’s great news for people who are often gaming on the go. Just plug it in and you’re good to go. On the bottom of the mouse there are two large mouse feet which provide a nice, smooth, and controlled glide with virtually no break in time. I like this large feet setup so I’m glad that they haven’t touched this. Recommended Grip TypesThere’s no rattling, squeaking or any give to the shell when doing the usual ‘shake and pressure’ tests so when it comes to build quality the S2 is as solid as can be. There are some things that aren’t perfect, of course. I don’t particularly like the feeling and look of the coating (particularly after using the mouse) and the scroll wheel could be better, but these are minor annoyances that aren’t so pronounced that they impact my enjoyment of the mouse. Do note that the LOD is a touch over 1.2 millimeters, with currently no way of lowering it, so if that’s something that would bother you it’s important to know this ahead of time.
