Additional curtains

Now we have a nice actual rectangle of fabric which will make the sewing much better. Step 2: Sewing the sides If you've ever had to rough it a few days (or weeks—we're not judging) post-move with no window treatments, you know just how essential it is to have them. Both functional and decorative, curtains, drapes, and blinds are a necessary part of any room design. And the best part? You can make them yourself! To ensure you cut the fabric straight, clip the edge of the fabric, find a single thread and gently pull the thread out of the fabric. This will give you a line across the fabric to cut along. Lining up your fabric with the grout lines on a tiled floor is another great way to ensure you cut straight. For beginner sewers, the cotton fabric will always be the easiest to sew. Cut out the curtain fabric along the drawn lines. Use fabric shears to cut out the panels along the marked lines. Keep your cutting lines as straight as possible.

I love the look of triple pinch pleat! The curtains again can be attached to a rod with curtain rings or a curtain rail. Snip any loose threads that may be lingering, then clip the curtain rings to the top of both panels, spacing them evenly, and hang them on a curtain rod. How to: Fit a pole or track

Start stitching the tape across the top of the curtain close to the top edge of the tape. When you get close to the end, cut off the tape a couple inches past the second side. It is helpful to ask the fabric supplier to cut your fabric into the drops you need so when you are ready to start, your fabric is ready to sew. Just make sure they cut straight.
