With some of the Winsor & Newton pigments, when you first lay them down and they look bright and vibrant, after leaving them to dry, some of them appear a little bit washed out in comparison to how they looked immediately when laying them down. To remedy this, all you have to do with the pigments this occurs to, is simply apply another layer. Like I say, not all of the pigments behave in this way and you will get to know the pigments it does happen to the more you use them. It is like any art supply, the more you use it, the more you are going to notice any quirks that come with that particular product if any. They come in two formulations: alcohol and water-based. The Promarker and Promarker Brush are both alcohol-based dye ink markers with fine bullet nibs on one end. The other nib on the Promarker is a chisel; the Promarker Brush has a softer brush nib.The most common use of ProMarkers is for illustration, typically for bold coloured drawings. Their vivid colours and versatility make them great for such creative line work. Furthermore, due to being able to use ProMarkers on surfaces other than paper, they are great for crafts involving glass, plastic, and even wood. How many Winsor and Newton ProMarkers are there?

This variety makes the ProMarker an incredibly versatile tool. One can achieve very different effects with the fine nib and it’s great for very fine details. The brush nib allows you to create very fluid, flexible lines of different widths. How many colours are available? As they use alcohol-based ink, storing both ProMarkers and BrushMarkers correctly can make a huge difference to their quality. You can store these pens either horizontally or vertically, which is not possible with other water-based markers. Many artists choose to store their markers vertically, as the colour of the marker is easily visible on a dot at the end of each pen.
