I think it depends on what your shooting , nearly 2 secs recycle on full power for model or portrait work might be too slow to keep the flow. It is also supposed to have better colour repeatability between shots. God knows most cameras and lenses are not calibrated......... but I guess if you sort one frame you can just do the others the same. Both units feature a handle for positioning and adjusting while shooting. These handles are also removable, which is ideal if you need to save space while traveling. Another highlight for me is the improved 38-watt LED bulb modeling lamp versus the ten-watt on the original non-pro model. With this modeling lamp boost, the Pro model is much more versatile as well competitive to the high-priced alternatives. It also becomes useful outside of just dimly lit studios.

The addition of interchangeable mounts on the AD400Pro gives you the versatility to be able to mix and match with the equipment that you’ve already invested in, which is a feature that no other strobe head on the market can do. As you’d expect from a modern, feature-laden strobe, the spec sheet for the CITI600 (Godox Wistro AD600B) is rather impressive. The design and construction of the carry bag itself is sturdy, and the componentry fits snugly and securely into the pre-cut foam inserts. For this image of a bolt of cloth, I had a large overhead softbox, and then a large gridded reflector frame right. The issue I had, was down to the weight of the head, which meant I had to counterbalance with a sandbag etc. and I still felt a little uneasy working below it. I switched to Godox Speedlights a few years ago because of the Li-ion batteries that allowed me to shoot long events without a battery change.When the AD-360 came out it was the Quantum-killer I had anticipated as I could see the rapidly improving Chinese manufacturers moving into previously unassailable strongholds. I am very happy with the AD-600s and sold my Einsteins and the rest of my hodge-podge Bowens, Hensel, and Buff gear. As a location photographer the locations provide plenty of color shift natively that masks any color shifts that might be present in the flashes. Were I shooting on a studio set with almost no variation in subject I might notice the drift. However I didn't see much shift from my White Lightnings despite their "primitive" design. Included with the Godox AD600 Pro is a modern, streamlined high-intensity reflector. This lightweight modifier improves on the designs of other reflectors, allowing you to direct the light exactly where you need it and also comes with a Bowens S-type fitting, allowing you to use a wide variety of modifiers. I ended up swapping out the overhead light for an Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL, which weighs little more than a gasp of air, and the AD600 Pro was used for the accent light. Now bear in mind that this is my personal choice, because I'm lugging kit all over the country most days of the week, and a lot of my shoots end up requiring overhead lighting, such as food etc.Ultimately, this portable studio flash delivered exactly as promised, and outperformed an awful lot of the also-rans. Even in HSS the accuracy was there. I loved the aesthetics, the recycle time, the displayed light duration, the LED modelling light, the menu system and far more than I can actually recall. For me it is two major points: Value and weight. When doing school photography I used to carry the two Einsteins, two batteries, cables, extension cable (if battery fails), huge heavy duty stands, radio triggers and receivers (three times what I needed). To carry all that I have a bag I call a "body Bag" because you can fit a small person in it. The Godox AD600Pro has an impressive guide number of 60 at 200mm, making it a powerful-yet-portable lighting solution. What features does the AD600Pro have? I have to say, the weight was the only negative aspect I found with Godox AD600 Pro. Although the weight isn't particularly heavy at 3Kg, taking four or five on a location shoot could be tiresome, and bear in mind you also have to take 3Kg of ballast to counter-weight the boom arm too. Where the head is simply sat on top of a light stand, it was fine, and gave excellent results every time, making it a fantastic battery-powered strobe for location shots, such as this...

So, as per your list, faster recycling time, and a stable color temp mode are the only real features, but the number of flashes has been reduced by a third. How is this worth a price premium?The colour consistency is now matched by other Off-Camera Flash (OCF) units, such as Elinchrom with their ELB 500 TTL, which I reviewed previously HERE. I have to say, the AD600 Pro has stood the test of time extremely well. I used it in various scenarios such as the following product shot.
