Whilst the cover is very bright and colourful, this book isn’t always super cheery, in the best way possible. I found when using the yearbook I would try to get it where there was about 3 or more items that I wanted so I would generally be getting something I wanted. Their first steps into this relationship bring both comedy and warmth to the story and provide hopeful glimpses into the 'real' Paige and how much she has to offer the world. This became the origin of "virtual yearbook day" where in-person and remote students could simultaneously sign each other's yearbook at a yearbook party.
