Shade–a–babe fits easily onto any buggy, stroller, car seat or carrycot, providing the perfect amount of shade that babies and toddlers need to be safe, cool and content in the sun. I've got the shade a babe and love it especially now summers almost here as i means that Sean's doesn't have to be covered up completely. We definitly need some sort of sunshade as the sun is strong here in Aus, but cant find any tandem shades.

Def recommend them, quite a few of my friends use them and on a normal pushair they completely cover baby uv shade-wise but they can still fully see where they are going. they are really easy to use just fling it over the pram - baby can still see out but sun and insects can't get in - also useful when its a bit blowy too. The shade is one of the most effective on the market today, blocking UV rays with a UPF50+ sun visor, the highest UPF fabric rating available. Jacks I didn't know what one was either but looked it up earlier after seeing this post I think the web address is www.With a parasol you have to reposition it every time you go around a corner and mine has even blown off the pushchair on a not-very-windy day but obviously a gust caught it just at the right time, and I had to chase the damn thing into the road (don't panic, I parked the puschair first ). I have a ray shade- better than any parasol esp when you have a little monkey who pulls at the parasol, constantly moving it. See picture 2 for full specifications but protects little ones from the sun, wind and insects and can be used for naps.

It also doesn't pack very small - the mesh is quite "hard" - the koo di stuff looks like softer fabric, so probably packs smaller. but the shade a babe is a bit more tightly fitted so they should not be able to, I have got one that fits my Mclaren stroller, and also fits my big three wheel jogger pram too. I have one, nice fit on techno, used it when dd was tiny (under six months) but the following summer she wouldnt entertain the idea.

I saw a Koo Di Pack-it shade on another pram at the weekend - it looked good - rather like the "shade-a-babe" because it has mesh that folds down and clips on the front of the footrest - so good for darkening for naps also.
