Testing the Loxjie A30 put a smile on my face and landed it happily on my recommended list. You are getting restaurant quality meal at fast food prices. Lastly I believe just getting A30 is also an option, but I cannot find A30 operate as DAC with FIXED RCA output to the Edifiers, so that's a challenge? edited) my focusrite usb interface seems to have a decent amount of hiss, so it overtakes the amp hiss at a volume of 31 (of 70), but this is still plenty.

i think the da-9 sounds a bit better in my setup compared to the loxjie a30 via optical or even when attached to the same dac via unbalanced analog input.. after all the dac in the loxjie seems pretty solid.the loxjie seems to have a bit more "warmth?" by which i mean higher output volume in the lower mids. The T8V is too large for my room (3,6x6m; 11,8x19,7ft). And T8V is more expensive with 160dollars than T7v (in pair). The amplification circuit is based on an Infineon Merus MA12070 chip. This allows to develop a consequent power of 2x50W under 4Ω, while ensuring a very low distortion, an excellent efficiency and a complete protection system. I have an idea on this issue. If I want to build a new small sound system for a small room which one is better. I am not sure it has to do with USB on my TV (Sony XH95) or the amplifier itself... or Spotify? I use Spotify High Quality on the TV.

I just received my Loxjie D30 DAC and cannot be more pleased. I was initially concerned that the ESS Sabre chip wouldn’t have as good as sound as my SMSL M200 with AKM-4497 chip. Boy was I wrong! The ES9068AS is Sabre’s only “Current” output chip. AKM 4499 implemented Current output in their chips, be we all know about the AKM shortage. I calculated the volume at my listening position and even at 6 ohms, 20 watts i would get 100 DBa - but no clue if that's even loud enough. I'm planning on getting a Loxjie A30 (when I can eventually find one). Amp will be driving my stereo Dali Spektor 1 speakers, (83 dB/W/m, 6 ohms, recommends 40-100W/channel). I may want to drive my Bose SoundLink AE2 headphones sometimes, but driving speakers is most important for me. So I could go for the SMSL SA300 which doesn't have a headphone output. considering that ... no idea ... their amp is rated for 73 watts, but my soundcard outputs some serious levels at max volume i think At times I connect my Bose NC700 to the DAC and it provides decent sound. I don't play very loud but the quality is good. The dac also remembers volumes when switching between input sources. This is my first pair of bookshelf speakers so I don't know what I'm doing to be honest, but I do listen at very low volumes so noise worries me.EDIT: Actually in the dead silence of the night, if i concentrate, i can still hear the hiss from 1-2 meters away if the speaker is pointed right at my ear... but it's still a million times better than my rokit's.. and at least there's a mute button to fix it.. The A30 is based on Infineon MERUS™ MA12070P Digital filter-less Class-D Audio Amplifier which is a departure from many other desktop amplifiers we have tested. So it will be interesting to see how it performs.

The A30 has a subwoofer output on RCA connector. It is thus possible to use the amplifier to power a 2.1 system and enjoy a rich reproduction with deep bass. Bluetooth Your speakers are the voice or instrument, an amplifier is a relatively dumb device in that it only has one task which is to Amplify the input signal. Speakers are obviously going to make a huge difference because they are what is actually making the sound.

Current setup is (was) Mac Mini -> SMSL Q5 via USB -> Q Acoustics 2010i. I say was because the SMSL Q5 died after about 6 years of use, so currently in the market for a DAC + AMP. It's a modest desktop setup in a small room for casual listening. Room: the left one will be with it's edge against the wall and 35 cm away from the corner. right speaker will only be 35 cm away from the wall with 2 screens in between. I was weighing between because MX5 provides many things in one. So if I were to use it in the future for passive speakers I can continue to benefit from MX5. I have seen quality issues in e.g. Topping DX3Pro+ volume controls. One Thing I noticed anyway is with some "trash pop" music the mids get woofy and smear, but I don't understand if it is related to the creation of resonance with the furniture where I placed the speakers; I am going to try some support to decouple the speakers from the furniture.
