I’m not a fan of romance but the idea of being ‘ghosted’ by someone who seemingly had no reason to disappear / ignore you was kinda intriguing. I know lots of readers are loving it, and lots of readers are connecting enough to get emotional from it -- so it definitely could be a "it's just me, and not you" thing going on. I desperately wanted this couple to work out their issues, but I couldn't blame Kennedy for her bitterness and lack of faith in Jonathan. Overall, Ghosted leans towards the ambiguous and uncertain, but in a way that makes any alternative pathway from her initial premise feel unnatural and stilted. There are moments in Ghosted that are at once terrifying and blackly humorous; at its core is a saturating sadness.You become so committed to their ultimate happiness, in fact, that you don’t even care that Walsh lead you astray multiple fucking times.
