In summary, comparing the T2 with my Pulsar scope for me it wins on size, image quality, animal detection, plus a massive win on price. You will indulge in an immersive way while watching movies or playing games on this phone as it features a 6.78 inches (17.22 cm) display that has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 Pixels.. What a pity, the T2 Pro could have become the new reference class, but it is hindered by the height boost that nobody needed. The same phenomenon already existed with other "updates" from other brands. The T2 Pro combined everything of the wonderful T2 but it got ****ed up by the crass high peaks. On the positive side are the workmanship, the textured bass, the fantastic mids and the depth of detail. But that was already the case with the T2, with minimal compromises. Those who strike here must not be height sensitive. Then you get a neutrally tuned, natural sound with a grandiose stage and separation. For all others, the T2 is currently the best choice if you're not a basshead, although this also applies to the T2 Pro.But what does this mean in terms of sound behavior? There is more airiness, slightly more micro details and a greater audible range in the treble region. However, there are also arguments to the contrary that make you doubt the sense of this successor, as hardly anyone can and will ignore this. Depending on the song and source, the highs are almost unbearable and tiring. They are just too bright and the peaks are too heavy to enjoy music for a long time, at least for me. That doesn't even out the extreme richness of detail. What still works very well with the Pro are jazz and acoustic songs, especially with male voices. But if several instruments are added that have a higher proportion in the high range, or high women/men voices, it will be difficult to listen through the song without lowering the volume or simply changing it. That's a shame, because I was really looking forward to the T2 Pro. I wanted the T2 to have a bit more depth and smoothed highs to make it perfect in the price range, but not like that. The TinHifi T4 is the best model of the T-Series. The brand made a crowdfunding campaign and just smashed its goal, by a large margin (+2029% !). Visually it looks like a T3+, thanks to the starred faceplate and a new mirror-like finish.

I think the best way for me to sum up the InfiRay Xinfrared T2 Pro Thermal Eye is to say that much like an SLR camera versus the camera on your phone, this device obviously can’t compare to a high-end thermal imager, but the build quality, ease of set-up and use as well as the performance is far better than what I had expected. The battery life data comes from vivo laboratory, which is a theoretical value in a single scenario when the battery is fully charged. The improvement ratio comes from a comparison with T1 Pro. The T2 pro is made out of metal and there are few sharp edges unlike other IEMs that has CIEM-ish build therefore the fit of the T2 Pro is sub par in comparison to other IEMs in this price tier (eg. TFZ lineup and Shozy Hibiki). The isolation of T2 Pros is very dependent with the tips used, the nozzle is short hence the insertion is shallow.

You can zoom in – using your phone’s screen – from the standard 2x up to 15x. I have never found the zoom feature – on my pulsar or with this camera – particularly useful for mammalwatching in the forest at least, though given the range and quality of this camera it might be a different story when you are watching distant animals in savannah. At the other extreme the T2 allows me to focus in much more closely than my current scope, which doesn’t register anything nearer than about 2.5m/8ft. The T2 clearly shows my hand just 30 cm/12″ in front of the camera.

Your smartphone experience won’t be truly complete without a perfect design that’s not just about looks but also comfortable handling. Well to answer these and other questions, below are my completely honest thoughts as well as some sample footage taken using the T2 Pro on my phone over more than a month of use and testing: What is the InfiRay Xinfrared T2 Pro? B1 (2100) , B3 (1800) , B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1) , B5 (850) , B8 (900) , B28b (700) , B28a (700) , B38 (TDD 2600) , B40 (TDD 2300) , B41 (TDD 2500) So there are lots of benefits to this camera. But – as I think everyone who has used a thermal scope will agree – there is a pretty steep learning curve when you start using a thermal camera. A learning curve in three dimensions (so a learning sphere?).

The build quality of T2 is quite good, it is made of metal, and it is very vented, with two vents, making sure that you can't get a driver flex, no matter how hard you try. The bore size is on the larger side though, and you'll need to make sure you have a medium to large sized ear, and ear canal, otherwise it may be a tad too large for you.
