I appreciate it but most the time I just wish it went straight into Kon Karne, but on listens I do appreciate it, i’m glad it’s there.

I'll admit I'm just not usually a fan of food concept songs ( Lupe's burger track on The Cool was easy to pinpoint as a least favorite) and so a whole album of them is a little. Even more than the other DOOM albums this one requires you listen through each song, otherwise many of them just seem kind of odd.

Throughout the album, DOOM employs many food-related samples, and many of his lyrical themes are based on food metaphors.I was blown away by the beatboxing, the sample, and the storytelling on "Hoe Cakes" - and if we're talking instrumentals . s production on "One Beer" has sonics not to be forgotten which would make any longtime listener petition Doom's Hideout and one of those churches in Notre Dame for another Madvillian team-up. He talks about how his raps aren't always appreciated because of how weird they are but knows that Subroc would be proud of him.

Deep Fried Frenz selves into the theme of betrayal, this introspective track showcases DOOM's raw emotional depth.Anyway, I'm going to rate this album based on how I like it now instead of trying to average it with how I felt then, that just seems kind of weird now. The introspective lyrics, coupled with the eerie production, deliver a mesmerizing and thought-provoking experience.
