Recipes include warm halloumi salad; salt and pepper squid; sweet potato and black bean burritos; sticky pork chops; and baked doughnuts with sweet five-spice dust. The focus is on the food that we can and should be eating to lose weight, which is easy to make and won’t make you feel as though you are missing out. Whilst all the fresh ingredients are easily available, there are a few sauces and pastes in here that may not immediately seem easily accessible.

It might seem a little weird to add a cookery book to "favourites" and "would read again" but this is for sure one of my favorite books to DATE. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. I don't know how Tom does it but it's incredible, as snacking between meals is often the reason why most diets don't work. And as the title of my review suggests, you really can not tell that these are lower calorie meals from a flavour perspective and the portion sizes are more than adequate, which to me is essential if you are going to stick to more healthy eating.

So far what I have made has been tasty and filling (lot of corgettes), but personally I find some of the recipes not complicated but fiddly, too many ingredients in some, but this is maybe because I am trying the recipes for the first time so I’m continually checking the page to see if I am doing it right, which with the one layer lasagne I obviously didn’t because the amount of liquid in the dish I had left in the dish, no no no no I definitely didn’t get that right no idea courgettes dripped out water. A lovely jolly down to earth approach from a man i knew little about, but who is a wonderful advert for his recipes and book.

This is a lower-calorie diet with a difference - it's based on hunger-satisfying portions of delicious, lower-calorie dishes that taste amazing. More ingredients bought just to use cupboard space, for minimal extra calories why not use good organic honey, will try the recipes just to fool friends, glad its only on my kindle. Then I tried a Chicken Tikka Dish from this very book that I had at my Sister's house and I was blown away by the flavour combination and the fact that it was a healthy meal, so that combined with the transformation that "Big Tom! I have currently cooked around 10 recipes from this book, completely out of my comfort zone and it has been a success in almost all cases.Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge has been developing top recipes for nearly three decades and knows how to make things taste good.
