I loved the way healing and trauma was represented and how they both helped each other in that process. It was not just mentioned for the sake of making this a sad story but there was actual focus on Santiago's journey and how he gained his confidence and how Chloe and Noah helped him healed mentally and physically. I loved that he did it and made those decisions for himself and for his future.

I loved the ending and epilogue it was beautiful and heartwarming, making me cry happy tears for them.There was a misunderstanding when Santi was trying to protect Chloe, but he redeemed himself in the best ways. I'm sad to be saying goodbye to this series, but it couldn't have ended any better than with Santiago and Chloe getting everything that they hoped and wished for because they deserve nothing less. the mental health representation in the dirty air series blows me away each time. it’s amazing to see characters who are relatable on that aspect and so so important There were a couple other random things but it doesn’t really matter because I realized that I started getting bored as I got closer to the end which is never a good sign. So like I said, there was a lot I really enjoyed - but there were also a couple things I didn’t. First, there was instant attraction which I’m always meh about. Second, I think they kissed too early - it could have easily been pushed off a little to make it more of a slower burn. Third, I didn’t love how the whole ending thing went down. I liked the groveling aspect - but I feel like she was overreacting and the moment was overdramatized.Santiago and Chloe have both been hurt in their lives, though, in different ways. Chloe grew up in a toxic home with her mother until she was placed in foster care with her mother still trying to take advantage of her now and Santiago was off to a good start of his career when it was taken from him and he allowed it to take over his life that is until Chloe. She doesn't see him the way he sees himself as a broken man and pushes him to love himself again and he helps her with overcoming her fear of letting someone show her what it feels like to be cared for and loved. Together, they help each other heal. She describes her loneliness as a weakness, but I only see it as a strength. While people like me shrivel away in the shadows, people like her create their own light. She’s like the moon who shines bright despite the never-ending darkness. The ending was bittersweet but indeed a beautiful one. I cried when when Jax broke her heart and when he thought he doesn't deserve the future with her because of his diagnosis. I loved how Elena agreed to be always with him no matter what happens in their future. They deserve all the love and happiness and that epilogue— I LOVED IT 🫶

when jax took elena into the balacony and showed her the hot-air balloons similar to the ones drawn on her puzzle I loved seeing more of the couples from the previous books and especially loved the closeness that they have formed, creating a found family aside from Jax pushing them away at times. Sophie is the first of the friends that Jax confides in telling her everything. He tells his best friend Liam next, I loved seeing the bond these two have. We are introduced to Elena's best friend Elias, and he is welcomed into the group. As well as Caleb, who is Jax's biggest fan. He became close with Jax and Elena after she set up a meet and greet with him. Their interactions are so fun and sweet. Elena found a family within Jax's family and found friends as well.Elena Gonzalez is a PR agent and had worked closely with Liam previously. Now, a year later, she is hired by McCoy once again, except this time, she is contracted to be a private PR rep for Jax Kingston due to his most recent actions of passing out in a club restroom. She is to be with him for the season to keep an eye on him and to help make his presence in the media positive. But there is a catch she must be with Jax at all times, including living together. He pushes against her at every turn when she intervenes and tries to help him. Only she doesn't know what she's up against. All she knows is that he is struggling with something mentally in which he keeps a secret from everyone, even his closest friends. The more time that Jax spends with Elena, the more he realizes that he wants to know more about her. But how close is he willing to let her get? Will he let her get close enough to him that he shows his most vulnerable moments and the secrets he hides away from the world? I was not a fan of Santi until this book. What happened to him, in the beginning, my heart poured out for him. But man, I didn't see half of what was to come and how he grew. I fell in love with him. You couldn't ask for a better book boyfriend. A tortured soul that went through such trauma. How he turned it around and held his head up high. So proud of him. when jax planned a fundraiser to help people with alzheimer’s disease in honor of elena’s grandma and he let elena do the makeup challenge on him as she used to watch on youtube These two were just perfect for one other. Their banters, flirting and heart to heart moments were everything!
