Cleaning performance was mostly good, although I did find myself reaching for the Turbo option frequently to really pick up the mess, and some spills took a few swipes or more to clean up everything. li>Energy Efficiency: The oven is rated with an energy efficiency classification of A for both ovens. With a depth of 195 mm, a width of 252 mm, and a height of 1179 mm, this vacuum cleaner is compact and easy to maneuver. It amps up the suction for tough spots and thick carpets – though in all honesty we didn’t notice a huge power increase.

The machine did come with a wall fitting but I tend to just tuck it behind the kitchen door and charge the battery elsewhere as this works well for us. The flour test is just as problematic for some vacuums, but the Hoover HF500 performed well here, too. Overall, as you can see from the chart below, this was a decent performance from the Hoover HF500 cleaner. If the battery will not hold charge it may be due to long storage periods or usage possibly of one year or more. The cleaning performance is brilliant and we loved how lightweight and portable it is, meaning it can be used for quick touch-ups we all need to make every day or so.The H-Free 500 is the lightest and most compact cordless stick of Hoover’s range and we’ve given it the full review treatment. When I first opened the box and saw how small and light the hoover was I was a little sceptical about how it would perform. The shaft attaches and detaches with the help of a quick release button, as does the main brush head. As usual, the main unit is where you’ll find the dustbin, along with lights that indicate the battery status and what cleaning mode you’re in. Subsequent passes managed to take that figure up to 86%, but I couldn’t get the last of the residue cleared up. Capacity: This double oven has a total capacity of 65 liters in the main oven and 42 liters in the secondary oven.Also no need to faff about with a dustpan and brush as vacuum cleaners these days are smaller and lighter. Given that the main button is surprisingly stiff it’s a welcome relief, but there’s yet another minor irritation here: it’s too easy to accidentally flick the latch back off, and even over just a few minutes’ use we’d find ourselves regularly switching the H-Free on and off by mistake. Remove any debris, hair and threads from around the brush, you may need to use scissors to carefully cut away any thing tangled up. Finally, we get to emptying the bin, and once again there’s a lot of promise let down by a minor flaw. As well as the main stick that’s fitted with a floor brush, it comes with a crevice tool, an upholstery brush that has a clip-on hard brush, and a mini-motorised pet tool, which is designed to tackle sofas and carpeted stairs.
