Hubs vary week to week because they are designed by you and other Connect Members but you can expect things like quizzes, discussions, guest speakers, craft activities and a cuppa. We enable you to recognise your skills and explore what you want to achieve. Our focus is on helping you to become stronger and more connected. We support people with Learning Disabilities to achieve what they never thought is possible by awakening their inner potential.

In Haringey, our KeyRing Support network is spread across the Wood Green and Tottenham areas and is supported by a Community Enabler who provides a person-centred approach to all our Members. KeyRing Approach If you are taking your first steps towards independence, we can help build on your skills and develop new ones. You will be supported by a locally based Community Enabler who provides direct support with individuals. You can also attend monthly network meetings where members can get together.We have a tiered Membership level which reflects the needs of the people we support. This ranges from support that is more intensive to ‘Linked In’ Membership for those who just need a drop in service. We enable you to recognise your skills and explore what you want to achieve. Our focus is on helping you to become independent and more connected with your community. You, along with your KeyRing Community Volunteer, therefore co-produce an action plan which details your specific goals (both short and long-term), actions needed and more. We provide flexible support If you live in Croydon, we can support you to build your skills, work through any problems you are facing and connect you with your local community. We have been working with people who have learning or physical disabilities in Croydon for over 25 years. In 1995, we established a partnership with Royal Borough of Greenwich. We currently support 18 Members to live independently in their own homes. We responded to the challenges of an aging population and support people of many different ages. The service provides one-bedroom accommodation supported housing for adults with a learning disability who are looking to live more independently. Support focuses on equipping you with the skills to live an independent life in a flat of your own. Newburn Street can be an ideal option for anyone wishing to move away from more intensive supported living options. At Newburn Street, you would have an allocated key worker and support is flexible and based on your individual needs. How to refer

At KeyRing, you'll have your own ISF trained staff member. You will be supported to understand what budget you have available for your care and support. And you'll talk about your goals as well as your needs. This will help you create your support plan so that you can live the life you want. Our support is flexible and is dependent on ongoing assessments and support planning of you. We work towards moving you away from paid support to self-help.

You can’t wait for your support day to experience crisis. Nor can you always fit your issues into your allocated support hours. Therefore, our connected approach, with peers, volunteers, and staff, means we can allow for the ups and downs of your life. How to refer Hubs are group sessions where you can learn and have fun while getting to know other KeyRing Members. Staff and volunteers are at the Hubs to help out but what happens is up to you!

Our KeyRing Support Network is based in Maida Vale. Located mainly in the City of Westminster, with parts overlapping into the London Borough of Camden, Maida Vale is situated north of Paddington in West London, between St John's Wood and Kilburn. In Lewisham we have two networks which are each supported by a volunteer who lives in the area and knows the area well. These people are called Community Living Volunteers. We also have Community Connections Volunteers who can further support you to connect with your community. You will develop your skills for independence, link with your local community and be part of a network that supports each other. KeyRing focuses on the assets of both you and other people in your community. We work together to find ways to activate those resources, capabilities and social capital to improve your outcomes and wellbeing.
