Irrespective of the toothbrush you are using, don’t be too worried about the number of oscillations, rotations and pulsations. Any electric toothbrush should clean the teeth better than a manual brush, when used correctly. The Pro 2 2000W – This is the Pro 2 2000 with 1 x 3D White brush head included in the box, rather than the CrossAction brush head that comes with the Pro 2 2000N.

I always thought that oral b battery brush was fine and threw it away and got a new one as it was not worth getting new batteries and head. However the cross head certainly works better. I just bought PRO 2 2000 White version and noticed it auto turns off after about 4 minutes 30 seconds. Is this normal? Review doesn’t mention anything about auto turn off. Braun claims it doesn’t auto turn off after 2 minutes. Reply

I wouldn’t worry about the battery life. My previous Oral B was a top of the line with the pressure sensor and different modes. I always kept it on the charging stand. The battery finally died after almost ten years. Unbelievable that it lasted that long. I will be happy if this one lasts half as long. Reply The pacer is activated from the moment the brush is powered on, momentarily pausing the brushing action every 30 seconds to tell you to move on to the next part of the mouth. There are 4 sections in total and you need to brush the inner, outer, and biting surfaces of the teeth during this time. These modes only become available again, when you finish the dental care journey or you end the journey yourself from within the application. The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 is overall a very good electric toothbrush which provides amazing value for money. If you are looking for a simple yet effective electric toothbrush, this is the electric toothbrush for you. Pressing too hard with an electric toothbrush is fairly easy to do (I make this mistake frequently). If you press too firmly often, this can lead to a type of tooth wear known as toothbrush abrasion. This is where the bristles of the toothbrush start wearing away the enamel and dentine of the tooth, ultimately resulting in sensitivity.

When the battery indicator light eventually flashes red, the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 is completely out of battery. This means moving to a manual brush to complete your toothbrushing and waiting 5-6 hours for it to charge. Charger Prices are always subject to change of course, but I do believe the Pro 2 is the better buy, even if the Pro 3 offers subtle benefits.Those moving to an electric toothbrush for the first time will likely activate it more frequently. Don’t worry too much, within a few weeks you will adjust to the pressure required. Another neat design feature is the rear-mounted pressure sensor, which illuminates red to tell you you’re applying too much force and pressure to the teeth during cleaning. Acting as a visual indicator, it really helps to make you more aware of any bad brushing habits you've fallen into thus reducing the chance of you doing any damage to the teeth. It’s a simple yet clever design detail that works exceptionally well and helps you to brush your teeth the way your dentist would want. These ‘should’ be compatible. But, as I mentioned, Oral-B appear to be updating the firmware on their toothbrush handles which can potentially make them incompatible. This firmware is applied at the time of manufacture. Thus, I can’t make any guarantee.
