Its flavors are a harmonious blend of tropical fruits, with the rum providing a smooth and warming backbone. A complex amalgamation of Bombay Sapphire, pineapple and freshly squeezed lemon juice are shaken really well with peach liqueur and fresh tarragon leaves to provide just a hint of anise to this botanical-rich cocktail with real longevity of flavour.

The Bombay Bramble's fruity and refreshing taste pairs well with light appetisers and snacks like cheese and crackers, fruit skewers, or smoked salmon blinis. An avant-garde twist on a classic cocktail; Star of Bombay is enlivened over cubed ice with Noilly Prat Vermouth and Angostura Orange Bitters, then slowly strained into a chilled martini glass. This is balanced with a sweet Maraschino cherry and topped with Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Aromatic Tonic. It’s herbal and juniper-forward, with notes of unripe blackberry and raspberry that come quickly into focus from there. The Bombay Bramble is a variation of the classic Bramble cocktail, which was also created by Dick Bradsell.

While the medley is ideal for summer drinks or a BBQ, the rich flavor of the gin will probably see you sipping long into the autumn months. We use fresh local ingredients in this cocktail which combines Bombay Sapphire with the rich earthy flavours of carrot with uplifting citrusy coriander and sweet honey, then lengthened with Fever-Tree Soda Water. The Bramble 75 cocktail, created by lauded chef Marcus Samuelsson, uses Prosecco instead of Champagne to bring out the natural berry flavors of the gin. Those who love to experiment with gin flavours are in for a treat, with Bombay Sapphire's first flavoured distilled gin.

While it’s fully expected from what’s in the bottle, the nose nonetheless has an unusual combination of juniper and herbs, mixed with tart berry notes. Served ‘on-the-rocks’, Bombay Sapphire is stirred with MARTINI Extra Dry Vermouth and home-made rosemary sugar syrup. Bombay Sapphire is perfectly balanced with lemon juice, MARTINI Bianco, Creme de Cacao Blanc (chocolate liqueur), and Blue Curacao (orange liqueur), creating a chocolate-orange sensation. Surprisingly while the berry perspective strongly suggests drinks like the Bramble or Jam Cocktail— it does its best work where it’s allowed to shine on its own.
