Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones. The claim that it’s water repellent really holds true as well. Just to test I spilled a bunch of my precious water on the pad and it stayed on there long enough for me to grab my camera, take photos, and upload them. Afterwards I just gently dipped the spill with an absorbent cloth and the pad was about as dry as my lawn after weeks of zero rain. I personally don’t need my pads to be water resistant since I keep my drinks away from my keyboard and mouse space but I’m just saying that all this talk about Cordura being a reliable and low-maintenance fabric doesn’t come out of thin air. I've noticed a trend with these cheap budget pads with generic rubber foams/bases, they tend to form these waves/bumps (which you can feel) as you wash them even with just water ; I've had this on pretty much every budget pad I've owned - AC+ white, Hyperx fury s, Thor, Zerogravity, Infinity, and this included. GSR, GSR-SE, GP4 on the other hand did not have this issue on my end probably because of it's SR foam base, so from my experience I'd say to take a look on the new tiger pads with the SR foam base or any pad with the SR foam if you don't want to encounter this problem. The MPX390 may also be an option if you're really into cordura, EGG advertises it as the flattest and most premium mousepad out there due to its silicone base and imo if that's what it really offers It's worth it. My artisans (hien, zero) never had this issue as well and I've washed them a handful of times over the month, now I could see why artisan is praised as the best of the best out there.

Fast forward to today, and I have to say it's slowed down so much to the point where I don't want to use it anymore. After washing it for about 4 times since I've had it, waves/bumps started to form and made it feel like an inconsistent mess. I am also really delicate with how I handle my pads, so it's not a me issue. Even a broken-in scratched up helios feels better than this. I tested a few mice on the mousepad, and they all felt nice. I did notice that the mice with PTFE feet ran smoother than the ones without, but that’s not really a surprise. Also, the lighter mice felt faster than the heavier ones. Again, no surprise, but it’s good to know what to expect depending on the type of mouse you’ve got. This “Cordura” material is supposedly used in the military, for hiking, motorsports, extreme sports, and more, so I expect that the MPC450 pad would be extremely durable for gaming. Time will tell, but it does feel very durable. Design As a week went by, the pad's kinetic friction was a marginally a tiny bit higher, it did not bother me at all, it still felt really fast and that change of kinetic friction made it a bit more controllable as well.Be careful when using the hairdryer too, as you want to avoid overheating the mouse, which can cause damage to your mouse (plastic melting or warping) and also cause injury to yourself, so proceed with caution. Of course the pad could be bulletproof (it isn’t: don’t get any ideas) but all of that doesn’t matter if the glide isn’t pleasant so let’s get to that. If your answer to the question ‘how much speed do you want’ is ‘yes’ then this might be the ultimate pad for you because this is a fast one. In fact it’s one of the fastest cloth (orcloth -ishin this case) pads I’ve used so far but due to the fact that there’s still some texturing on the surface micro adjustments don’t become an impossible task. Don’t get me wrong: you’re not getting anywhere near the controlling feeling of slower pads but you’re also not getting the ‘on ice’ feeling you get out of some hard pads. MPC series comes in three different sizes. L (MPC-450), XL (MPC-890) and Extended (MPC-1200). I was sent the MPC-450. As you would expect, given that most mousepads today offer 450x400 variant, this was no different. As a low/medium sensitivity player (800 DPI - 1.6 sens in CS, 5.33 sens in OW, 0.503 sens in Valorant), I was extremely happy with the size, given that I am 34cm/360. I never had the issue of going over the vertical or horizontal space. With a little preparation and some simple steps, you can enjoy better control and performance like the pros.

Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Trimming the edges gives your mouse a clean and finished look.

Having the right mousepad can be crucial for consistent gameplay and make a huge difference to your performance which can be especially important in fast-paced games where split-second decisions can make all the difference.

Now I don’t know about you but I am usually not gaming in the great outdoors so why would anyone want to make a mousepad out of this? The answer to that question is pretty simple: this pad is dirt- and water repellent and, simply put, is meant to last for years and years and then some, so there’s no need to worry about it degrading on you the minute you’ve had one too many sweaty gaming sessions. Given the fact that this isn’t your standard cloth surface I was a bit more thorough when it came to testing a variety of sensors. I don’t have any mice with really old or unknown sensors lying around but I had absolutely no issues with a 3310, 3360, HERO, Focus+, and what have you so I can say with relative certainty that this surface handles all of the current sensors (and even the previous generation of top sensors) without any hiccups. Endgame Gear MPC450 Review – Conclusion Speed is great, but it can also take some getting used to. One of the perks of using slower pads is the level of control you have while using your mice on them. The very first thing that stood out for me in the mousepad is the logo and the label. In my opinion, and bear in mind that this does not affect the performance, I would love the logo and the text to be smaller. Nowadays, a lot of people want to crate their dream set ups, and the biggest issue that I am seeing is that the logo is not minimal, but even more so, the logo itself is yellow which may get in the way of some setups. Now, I understand that this is branding of the company and they are not likely to change it, but I wanted to throw in my two cents. The other issue that I have noticed was the label that is on the inside of the mousepad, not the outside or wrapped around. I did not have any issue with the label getting in the way of gameplay so far (only been able to test the pad for the last 4 days) but I would imagine that it might cause some issues in the future. One company that did their label really well + adding their logo to that label was Razer and its new Gigantus V2 lineup. Sometimes, manufacturers tend to sacrifice aesthetics for ruggedness in an attempt to make a durable product. It’s often a fair trade, but I absolutely love products that look nice and are also made of quality, durable material. That’s the case with the MPC450 here.Once you have your replacement mouse skates in hand, it's now time to remove your old ones from the base of the mouse. Bare in mind that the company is new and has fewer employees than other known companies, they were fast to note that users were not happy with the rubberized cable, and in the next month or two, they have released a new version with one of the best paralike cables. Today, I present to you their new mousepad, MPC-450 from the MPC series. I can also say that cordura fabric is not that very durable as people put them out to be, I can just scratch the fabric with my nail and when I look at the fabric close-up it's broken up. This also explains the inconsistent slowing down of my pad during my entire use with it. The Endgame Gear MPC450 Cordura Mousepad requires very little maintenance. If you have any spills, dirt, or stains, a simple wipedown will take care of it more often than not.
