Now I’m very excited to dive into the final book of the series, Sleet Banshee, which will follow my favorite vixen, Meghan! We get some glimpses of what her story might be throughout this book and in the epilogue…and I have a feeling this one will be my favorite of the trilogy! I LOVED that Katelyn had the Sunday brunch with the girls, Meghan, Steph and Izzy and that they were all so supportive of one another.

Every time I see him, or hear him, or touch him...my brain has a little sex aneurysm and goes off line. Maybe it's a brain orgasm. A braingasm." I admit, I do not understand people that tell every detail of their love life to LITERALLY EVERY WOMAN THEY MET EVER. But I could have been okay with it, IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO READ ABOUT IT. Sleet Banshee is my favorite out of this series so far. I fell in love with Meghan as a secondary character from the previous two books but I love her even more after reading her story. Sebastian is the goalie and while he has a questionable reputation, he isn't a complete manwhore. He simply isn't into relationships and commitment and is always up front with women from the beginning. Zach was such a sweetheart, and was so protective of Izzy, and I loved that. Izzy’s relationship with her dad was also so cute! There really wasn’t much drama between our couple, making this book low on angst (and high on laughs! I laughed out loud several times!). I foresee myself re-reading this one many times in the future as a fun mood booster.

Now why did she not finish this book???? Well...I’m glad you asked. This may not be a deal breaker for most people but it’s something I find annoying as hell.

Ash aka Sebastian is a intriguing character, loved seeing his insecurities and his inner monologue. Great to see the man’s side of being nervous in a developing relationship Basically, the story in this book looks like this: Something happens between the hero and the heroine - the heroine proceeds to tell her best friend, a girl she just met, his mother and his sister the whole thing AND I HAVE TO READ ABOUT HER TELLING THEM THESE THINGS! Why?! Why should I need to read about the same situations twice?I loved Meghan....she's funny and witty and has a kind and loving heart. It was mesmerizing to see the woman beneath the jokes...the woman she showed Sebastian. I loved Sebastian even when he was being an idiot. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and I adored that they seemed to be best friends before they were lovers and it made their fall into love meaningful. This book is Beautifully written with such detail - the coffee shop scene where Meghan is describing the Polar Bear 🐻‍❄️ the mental images that gave me - dangleberries 🥹🤣😂 then the scene grocery shopping and the old lady 🤣😂 The two of them are coming in H O T, but also realizing from the first minute that this is not just a one time thing. Loved the overlapping with Izzy’s book, it gives a much more in-depth view of why/how things happened and Katelyn was just the right amount of everything -- sweet, funny, awkward in the most adorable of ways and took no sh**t.

Then we have Meghan, I had so much hope for her book because I really loved her personality from the book 1 and 2. She was strong, feisty, no nonsense woman, and a loving friend in the previous books. But in her own story she went from a likeable character to a freaking weak, doormat, and lust driven FMC. Desmond should’ve known better than to bring temptation into his house. He decided long ago that his best friend’s sister was too sweet, too good, for him. She deserves a guy who can give his heart. For her sake, he’s stayed away. But as her laughter breathes life into his lonely mansion, he’s not sure how long he’ll be able to resist. You went younger last time. I see you’re trying your hand at older tonight. But you’re wrong to keep trying. You don’t need to keep searching for your perfect man.”

Going into this series, I had extremely high expectations. Though I haven’t seen much talk about this series, my friend had raved about it so I knew it HAD to be brilliant. Very early into the first book I was sure this book was going to exceed my expectations! I don't know if it's a consolation but at least he was the first one who dropped the love bomb. But since I'm fuming most of the book, his confession felt so unbelievable and it only made my eyes roll so hard. Until she walks into her fathers office and sees Zach, the new player on the sleet team. More than ever, she tried to ignore his advances and put distance between them. Which is proving difficult because everywhere she looks, Zach is there. She can’t deny her need for him for much longer. Sleet Sugar was the perfect sequel to this series! We now follow Isabelle, the coach's daughter AKA Izzy, and Zach, the NHL player and their not only a one-night-stand romance! We jump right into their first date with a hot night of sex that, through happy chance and strong sexual attraction, turns into an addictive romance!
