The UnXplained is a television series on History that claims to "explore subjects that have mystified mankind for centuries". [1] The show is hosted and executive produced by William Shatner. It premiered on July 19, 2019, and has aired for five seasons on the History network. Have you ever been so angry that you feel like you’re going to burst into flames? Well, these people look very much as if they did. Spontaneous human combustion was first described in the 1600s: someone would burn to death without an obvious source, the head and trunk being reduced to ash. All that would remain would be the leg or legs, poking out from the remains. Quite horrific. While no serious scholar believes that this story is literally true, some have speculated that the legend could have been inspired, in part, by real events that happened in Greek history. One possibility is that the Minoan civilization (as it's now called), which flourished on the island of Crete until about 1400 B.C., could have inspired the story of Atlantis. Although Crete is in the Mediterranean, and not the Atlantic, Minoan settlements suffered considerable damage during the eruption of Thera, a volcano in Greece.

Nine experienced hikers died on the slopes of the Ural Mountains in Russia, in 1959. Their bodies were found under mysterious circumstances, the hikers’ tents were torn from the inside, their bones were broken, shattered and crushed. They aged rapidly and tongues were removed.
