You’re done with the top hat! If you’d like to add a finishing touch, you can even curl the edges of your brim up using a rounded object, such as your Cricut pen. Curving the edges against an object will prevent the paper from folding or bending. I wonder if you’ve still got any pompoms from your precious projects. You’ll need large white ones as well as small red ones. This mason jar snowman is a lovely decorative addition to your winter-themed home decor. It’s also something that I bet your kids will enjoy making, so feel free to involve them, too! You can find those clear stirrers easily enough; just look here. For the reindeer heads, though, you’ll need a few felt balls from here, some mini red pompoms, dark brown felt sheet, and a hot glue gun.

Now let’s attach the earmuff connector piece to our snowman’s head. Apply a small amount of glue to one end of your rectangular piece and press it against the side of the head. You can align it right in the center of the flat section on the head’s side. Use the diagram in the printed plan to position the slats on the box and attach them using brad nails.Tie the string to the lantern and hang up your snowman. Then switch off the lights and watch your snowman glow! An interesting little fact about lanterns NOTE: When your snowman is correctly aligned, the edges of the two connector pieces won’t match up exactly. This won’t cause any issues with attaching the two pieces together, however.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a gazillion times(excuse the hyperbole): mason jars are the absolute best. I genuinely believe that you can do just about anything with these mason jars. The snowman’s face was cut using a scroll saw. However, if you don’t have one, a jigsaw might work. If you are considering a jigsaw, be aware that these parts are small, so go slowly, and be mindful of your fingers! So repeat the process above to attach your two head pieces together along one vertical seam. For the head, the assembled pieces will be smooth at the top and have tabs at the bottom, which will eventually connect to the tabs on the top of the body sphere. Depending on the different sizes of pompoms you have at hand, you can make big and small reindeer at your discretion. You can hang these balls up on your tree or use them to supplement your table decor. Just toss a couple or so of these balls around your centerpiece and winter flowers, and they’ll look fabulous. Electric tea lights are pretty useful, yes, but they are terribly boring on their own. That’s why this snowman is just what you can draw on it to jazz it up for your winter decorations.
