Feb 8, 2017 8926, Automatic, Dive, Invicta, Invicta 8926, Modding the Invicta 8926, modding watches, modding wrist watches, Seiko, Seiko NH35 if joy per dollar spent were a factor, these are top watches. they shouldn’t be judged by all the other cr*p Invicta puts out. judged on their own, if you want a great spec, classic style sub that looks good (yes, except for the engraved ‘invicta’ on the side), then this is totally worth it. This is another quite luxurious looking watch from Invicta that’s actually really affordable. It’s part of their Speedway series which feature some of the next most popular Invicta watches vs the Pro Diver series. The dial design really stands out on this watch, that texturing makes the watch look a lot more expensive than it is. As with the other watches, I think they’ve done really well with this two-tone finish. The watch uses a Japanese Quartz movement, has luminescent hands & hour markers, and also has a stop watch function. To top it off it still comes with an impressive 200m water resistance.The temptation to buy a cheap watch that actually looks many times pricier is difficult to suppress. This is not particularly surprising when comparing products that have such a large difference in price. curious of your opinion on the Swiss Made Invicta divers with Ronda’s. Those that can be had for 250-300. Reply Bracelet and the clasp is where things fall apart. Watch uses hollow links and the same holds true for the end-links. The clasp is thin and stamped and not in the charming way of a vintage Rolex. When I bought it I had no idea what a “homage” watch was. Never knew it looked like a Rolex and didn’t care. I just thought it looked cool, was inexpensive and so I bought it. BTW, nobody has ever mentioned it looked like a Rolex either. Only watch collectors know these things. Don’t buy it for that reason if that’s what you’re thinking. Reply
