This medicine contains fragrance with allergens. These allergens (d-limonene, linalool) may cause allergic reactions.If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to soya, peanut or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Please note that parcels weighing over 2kg may be sent via courier due to Royal Mail weight restrictions. The following quantities are recommended: (If the skin requires considerable moisturising, 2-3 times these quantities can be used)

Pour the appropriate amount of Balneum liquid into the bath as the bath is filling, be careful the water is not too hot. Always clean the bath immediately after you have used Balneum Medicinal Bath Oil. To do this rinse thoroughly with hot water and then clean with a household cleaner.

Moisturising bath oils are useful for dry skin conditions, such as eczema and dermatitis, which get worse when the skin is allowed to dry out. Used regularly, moisturisers and moisturising bath oils help restore the skin's smoothness, softness and flexibility by replacing lost moisture and helping the skin retain moisture. This helps reduce scaling, itching and redness. After using the bath oil the skin should be patted rather than rubbed dry. The perfume contains benzylbenzoate which may be mildly irritant to the skin, eyes and mucousmembranes. Moisturising bath oils are useful for dry skin conditions, such as eczema and dermatitis, which get worse when the skin is allowed to dry out. The following side effect is known to be associated with this medicine.

Avoid getting Balneum in your eyes, however, if this should occur, rinse immediately with clean water. If eye irritation remains please see your doctor. In conditions such as eczema, using moisturisers and moisturising bath oils regularly, even once the skin has improved, can help prevent flare-ups. Important information about Balneum bath oil If only a small area of skin is affected, you may be able to bathe the affected area in a bowl or sink. After bathing gently pat dry with a towel. If you wipe or rub your skin too much the Balneumwill not work as well.
