This type of hat has a number of differing styles. Mainly known and associated with the traditional baker, the flat bakers hat is pleated in the same style as a traditional toque but worn flat. The hat in this style gives an instant visual of someone with knowledge and seniority within the traditional kitchen set up and brigade system.
