That, plus the money you spend on the case is money you’ll save on cutting the RGB and not caring about what your motherboard or GPU look like – not only do you not see the internals – you simply can’t fit much in here.I feel like some mainboards could probably fit the Ghost S1 cooler from Noctua, but then, why should I go for older stuff, plus availabilty could be limited. Another problem is the fact that most of the cards are 2.2 slot or higher, this means that pretty much all the cards cannot fit. A fast and convenient build experience: Build directly on the spine with open component access from every angle. There are a few great CPU coolers for the Ghost S1 that we would recommend – with the first being the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 – a popular option for many Ghost S1 builders. Secondly, and the one we would recommend over any other air cooler is the Noctua NH-L12 – the most popular and superior CPU cooler for the Ghost S1.

Is it perfect? From one point of view, no. It doesn’t have air filtration. There’s no real front IO, and no room for expansion. But none of that is what the Louqe Raw S1 is about. Extra fans, filtration, and expansion space would make the chassis bigger and more complex, entirely defeating the point. Ask any Ghost S1 builder and you will likely get the same response and praise for the Corsair SF series SFX format power supply.I did a lot of research about the hardware and compatability list, and as i understood from my research, i can make the following changes: Was thinking to buy the i5 12400 or 12600 non-K version with the new Asus ROG Strix B660-I Board with DDR5 RAM. Yes I know, the good old Noctua Ghost S1 Cooler will not fit, so I am hoping to cool it with the Noctua NH-L9i as its also not the K version. Could go the route with a small Tophat to put two more Noctua exhaust fans in the case, if temperatures do get problematic. For most of the installation, this has been the easiest case I’ve ever worked on. It certainly was everything it was advertised to be. The ability to remove the sides and bottom, and installing everything directly to the spine, made component placement and cable management very straightforward. The case didn’t come with a manual, which wouldn’t be a problem since most of the assembly is pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, they didn’t label the case power and LED connectors, so I did have to look up and pinch around in the manual from my phone. The only other difficultly was the radiator. Because of this, I would actually say the Raw S1 is perfect – because it does a 100% job at achieving what the designers set out to achieve: a simple, easy-to-work-on minimalist system that looks the part and cools well.
