The caster only gets the perk from adjacent monsters IF the adjacent monster is also capable of casting this spell. This actually makes the spell far less useful if there are fewer Specters on the board. Next up is the Guardian Knight, also rolling a 7, he will engage the Dread Warrior as well. The Guardian Knight manages to land just one blow on the Dread Warrior. I imagine that this isn’t exactly the way you were hoping Rise of the Dread Moon to be revealed to the world. I imagine that you had, and maybe still do have big plans for the big reveal. In the ideal world, everything would go according to plan, everyone would receive the game at the same time on launch day, everything would be perfect. In my initial playtest with the Specter, I concluded that they didn’t seem like as much of a threat as we initially thought. I think I was wrong. I’m going to get into some more playtesting later, but this new piece of information is a bit of a game changer I think.
