A deformed pygmy went to them and asked for them to save his 5 brothers. The Princess who is sympathetic to the pygmies, promised to rescue them.

The veins of the pygmy crawled with fear. But before leaving, the Night Mother left a glimpse of hope for the pygmy. The pygmy went for the fountain of purity, where the princess slept. However, the Night Mother already found her. "Pitiful creature, are you here to see your master?", the Night Mother suddenly appeared at the shadow of the pygmy. When the pygmies decide to betray the Prince, only the deformed one does not speak up, out of guilt for betraying his savior and his own word. Foolish Pygmy: The Hydro Archon. Little is known about the Previous hydro archon. The current hydro archon "God of Justice" however sounds foolish. The title of the quest is "Masquerade of the Guilty". The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies (I) was a book given to us by Lisa during her story quest. This book is apparently "a fairytail story that has been told throughout Teyvat for ages." Even Paimon recalls the name of this story. But Lisa and the Abyss Mage knows there is a "hidden secret" behind this story.This means, the only Archon who, potentially could help us understand more about the story of the Pygmies is Murata, but she won't be out for another 2 years or so, and just before Schneznaya that is. The curse made the pygmies feel as though they were being cooked in a giant cooking pot. If the cooking pot is referring to Teyvat, this could make sense since the eternal “cooking” would allude to how the archons all go through erosion which cannot be stopped. She looked at the moon in the night sky, it almost looked like as if the moon was a hole, and on the other side was an entirely different world. She said to herself, "Will I be able to bring my people there one day?" And a prince out of nowhere answered, "You will." The Pale Princess They walked into the cave where the Nightgaunt resides and saved another pygmy, who was timid, from the top of a stalactite. Coincidentally, Nabu Malikata, the Goddess of Flowers and Mistress of Dreams had the power of prophecy, and she was a Seelie. The leading theory on the identity of the Princess is that she is related to the Seelies.

What's interesting here, is that in the case of the original Seven, all these events of loss and trauma happen exclusively before the khaenri'ahn incident. In Ei and Rhukkadevata's case, it is these very losses that eventually leads them to take on the role of Archon. There are already a lot of people asserting that the Archons are the six pygmies in the book series "The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies". Of course it is easy to write it off as just narrative ploy to make us like the Archons, but notice how other character's traumas, if existent at all, are relayed to bits and pieces in voicelines rather than the full cutscenes we systematically get for Archons. The Night Mother once ruled over the Land of Night. The Land of Night is lifeless, not a single tree grows, and is home to the horrendous denizens of the dark. The Night Mother is the source of all sins and the Land of Night is the embodiment of her evilness. She always watches this land and punishes her people unexpectedly. However, she hates the ray of moonlight that occasionally makes it through the clouds. We could infer that a short adult is a character who is not whole. It's a character who's lost a part of themselves.

Rather than take credit for someone else's work, i'll redirect you to their observations and findings. The Night Mother is a perfect match with Phanes/The Primordial one, who we recently learnt from The Goddess of Flowers that they were victorious over the 2nd Who Came. 'Unexpected Punishments' matches with the Celestial Nails dropped on innocent civilisations. Remember, we are unsure of why Dragonspine and Tsurumi Island were nuked, and Phanes was all too happy to banish the Seelie from heaven. But for the world to be created, the egg's shell had to be broken. However, Phanes, the Primordial One, used the eggshell to separate the "universe" and the "microcosm of the world."
