William Afton was one of the founders of Fazbear Entertainment, and unlike his other iterations, was well known for his murders. He committed several murders while wearing the Spring Bonnie suit, including that of Andrew and Susie as well. He was eventually caught in a horrific fire, but Andrew attached his soul to him, to anchor him to life so he could suffer.

Jessica later follows the fake Charlie, who reveals herself to be Circus Baby and is captured by her and brought to Circus Baby's Pizza. She forces Jessica to perform surgery on a weak William Afton who has escaped the Spring Bonnie suit. Jessica completes the surgery and is thrown into a room where the recently captured kids are being held. The day after, Jessica, Marla, John, and Clay are in the hospital, near Carlton's side as he is recovering from his near-death injury. After eating at the Thai restaurant, they went to see a movie called Zombies vs. Zombies, it reminded Charlie about her twin brother Sammy. After the date, John took her to the park; Charlie said "it was awkward". When she went home, Jessica was excited and asked "So? how did it go?". Unwilling to reply truthfully, Charlie nervously answered "It was ok". Though not outright stated, it is implied that Micheal took the form of Shadow Freddy that led John, Jessica and Clay to the underground pizzeria that Twisted Freddy took Charlie to. You can’t tell from looking if it’s being built up or torn down, Dunn thought. Can’t tell creation from destruction at a distance.”In 1995, Jessica arrives in Hurricane, Utah, to attend the launch of a scholarship dedicated to his old friend Michael Brooks, who went missing a decade earlier due to an incident at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Appearing in Chapter 1, she reunites with John and Carlton Burke. Charlie later shows up, and in the middle of their awkward conversations, the four start to talk about Freddy's. They then decide to revisit Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a restaurant Charlie's father once owned. Carlton claims that an incomplete shopping mall has been built in the restaurant's place. The door now hung open slightly, but Charlie didn’t disturb it. It hadn’t opened for her; it had only given way to time.”

John drives Charlie to the abandoned diner in New Harmony, and she remembers the day her brother Sammy was abducted by someone in a Bonnie costume, which led to the diner going out of business and Charlie's parents divorcing. She suspects that Sammy's abduction and Michael's murder are connected. It reminded me of Stephen King’s IT both in tale as well as ambience, in that ten years later the characters are coming together to review what happened when they were children. I was tense virtually the entire way with, as the details of what happened are gradually introduced. Not all of the personalities feel expanded, yet the ones we invest the most time with are rather well created. Every one of the characters feel genuine, as if they’re colleagues. Even the animatronics are defined in such as means as to make them appear as if they have some personality themselves, and make you question whether they’re in fact alive or not.Marla first appears in Chapter 2, she is at Carlton's house, along with Jessica and Carlton. By the time John arrives, they are excited that he came. The group then starts to talk about Charlie, and how she's different lately. Marla later appears at the hospital with John, Jessica, Charlie, and Carlton where Clay is recovering from his brutal injury. When the doctor says Clay will be okay, everyone is relieved except for Charlie (Baby in disguise). The doctor then tells everyone to leave. Some time later, she and Carlton meet up with John and Jessica, they think of a plan to know where real Charlie is and to stop William. The main antagonist of The Man in Room 1280 and the unintentional antagonist in the epilogues, he was hurt and murdered by William Afton only for Andrew attaching himself to the man's soul to ensure that he can't die. During the course of the story, it is revealed that his body was stuffed into one of the animatronic costumes ( Golden Freddy), and that William Afton (co-founder of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza) was responsible for his murder and that of the other children. Later, it is discovered that the soul of Michael and the other children possessed the animatronics, which hunted down any being that is not a robot.
