DeepCool does not warrant that this product will meet customer's requirements. It is customer's responsibility to determine the suitability of this product. When restricted to 200W, the LT720 kept Intel’s i9-13900K CPU at 52c over the ambient room temperature. This is a better thermal result than you’ll see from any air cooler, and it is in line with most liquid coolers on the market that I’ve tested – where I’ve seen a range of 49-52C over ambient. Given the very similar results in liquid coolers here, I’ll likely add 250W testing in the future to better show the performance differences of liquid coolers. In addition to testing Cinebench without power limits enforced, we’ll also be showing results when the CPU’s power consumption is limited to a more reasonable 200W. We’ll also show results at 125W for those who prefer whisper-quiet cooling, at the cost of some performance. For both of these results, we’ll show traditional delta over ambient temperature results. We are thankful to DeepCool for providing the testing unit. Awards Received By The Deepcool LT520 Cooler This means that coolers that kept previous generation products like the i9-10900K nice and cool sometimes struggle to keep Intel's i9-12900K under Tj max–the top temperature before the CPU starts to throttle. Many coolers, including DeepCool’s last generation CASTLE EX AIOs, failed to keep the i9-12900K under TJ max when power limits are removed in workloads like Cinebench and OCCT when I’ve tested them.

You Prefer Easy Installation: The cooler offers installation with 14 components for AMD CPUs, suitable for users valuing straightforward setup. Don’t Buy It If: While it was fairly easy with previous generations of CPUs for coolers to keep the flagship i9 processor well under TJ max (the maximum temperature a CPU can sustain without throttling) in tough workloads, this is no longer realistically possible on current generation CPUs (and the 13900K especially) without extreme cooling (or enabling power limits). While stress testing in Cinebench, I run both with power limits removed and with an enforced 200W CPU power limit. In this test setup using MSI’s z690 A Pro DDR4 Motherboard and Be Quiet’s Silent Base 802 Computer Case. Only the best coolers are able to pass Cinebench testing when power limits are removed. We recorded 50 dB(A) noise output from these fans at an ambient of 32 dB(A). The fans are loud at full speed and I would suggest PWM Auto control or custom fan curve. Should You Buy It?

DeepCool has certainly been on a bit of a busy release streak recently when it has come to brand-new cooling products. In terms of air coolers, we’ve seen models such as the AK400 ( review link here) and the AK500 ( review link here) which both impressed us massively! – This time around, however, it’s time to take something of a technological upgrade as we take a closer look at the newly released LT520 AIO liquid cooler! DeepCool LT520 AIO Liquid Cooler will be more powerful than previous generations through the use of high-performance efficient cores.
