A brilliant pub to visit on a sunny day, the Weighbridge Inn has a great outdoors area perfect for an al-fresco pint. Conveniently located near the rail station, this pub is an excellent choice to stop by as a tourist to plan your day in Burton over a drink or two.

If you look at a bottle of Marston’s Pedigree, you will see it described as an amber ale. But a more accurate description would be a pale ale. This is a common English beer style, and there are hundreds of excellent beers to choose from. You’ve also got the other beers in the Marston’s line. Their EPA beer is very similar. Or, if you enjoy a stronger beer with a more hoppy aroma, you’ve got their Old Empire IPA which is absolutely stunning.

Sadly not, Marston’s Pedigree is made with malted barley, which contains gluten. Is Marston’s Pedigree Vegan? The beer he replaced it with is a good one, but, apparently, is not selling enough. And yet the Pedigree has remained in demand for all this time. The pub seems a favourite of drinkers, getting 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor, with many complimenting the staff on their excellent knowledge of real ale in particular. As well as the outdoor space, the cosy décor inside makes for wonderful surroundings, with a real fire that's perfect for winter nights. With a cosy pallet beer garden that's perfect for the upcoming summer months, The Last Heretic is another pub that's very conveniently located for travellers and locals alike, near the town's rail station.
