If a mirror has already been used by one laser bean and a second laser beam tries to pass through it the second laser beam will go straight through it. Eight auxiliary inputs for the (included) heavy duty vandalproof start and stop switches and a variety of other uses. The source of the laser beam will be randomly positioned on the left wall of the room and the laser will be aiming to the right.

This maze game provides a lot of fun whether you’re a puzzle-solving novice or expert. With that being said, let’s hop into some of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to Maze. Can you solve a maze by always turning right?The original red only system is still a superb bargain for anyone needing a budget system. This uses the same hardware and software - only the laser and receiver modules are different. Lights and mirrors may make it feel like magic, but it's really science and a good dose of brain power that's needed to direct the laser beam through this series of mind challenging mazes. Select a challenge card and place the tokens on the grid as indicated. Arrange the tokens to reflect and split the laser beam to hit the targets. Once you think you've correctly arranged the tokens on the grid, push the button on top of the laser token to engage the beam. If the laser beam touches all of the tokens on the grid - you win. There is only one correct solution for each challenge so when you solve a challenge, flip the card over to see if your solution matches. The game contains 60 challenge cards ranging from beginner to expert that will flex your strategic thinking muscles and ignite the targets and your mind.

Swipe left, right, up, and down to move around the map. Your goal is to get to the large green circle as fast as you can! When there is a puzzle that you are really having trouble with, starting on the outside of the map and working your way in can often be a great way to approach things. Eliminate the outside options and then slowly start working your way inside. This might not be the fastest way to solve a maze, but for puzzles that you are really struggling with it is a good, reliable strategy that should help you eventually get through the maze. What is the toughest maze? To start you select one of the 60 Challenge Cards, of which there are four different levels of expertise from Beginner to Expert, and place it inside the holder at the top of the game grid. On each card will be a picture of the grid showing the challenge you are to complete, the tokens you are required to use to meet the challenge, and the number of targets you must activate. Underneath the words “ADD TO CARD” are the tokens you are required to use for the challenge. It will also show the “# OF TARGETS” which is how many targets the laser must be directed to hit and activate (Light Up). With hundreds of mazes, you’ll be sure to find some pretty difficult puzzles as you continue playing. The difficulty continuously builds as you progress in the game, meaning that by the time you surpass the 100-maze mark, there will start to be some excruciatingly difficult mazes. The last 10 mazes are probably the most difficult in the game and players will need all of their puzzle-solving skills to be on point if they hope to defeat this intense maze game. Why are mazes difficult? Imagine a leisure obstacle game along the lines of ‘Mission Impossible’ or ‘Entrapment’ and there you have Laser Maze. Every system has a number of lasers, red and/or green that play their beams across the ‘maze’. When a player breaks a beam it prompts a programmable event sound and the player will lose points and time.

When looking at the illustration of the game grid on the Challenge Card, there will also be one of two symbols shown inside each token; if it shows the outline of a token, then you must place that token inside the exact cell in the orientation (which way to direct the mirror) indicated. If it shows a question mark, it is up to you to figure out the orientation of that token. The harder the level of expertise, the less you will be given the orientation of the tokens, and you will be required to use more tokens and activate more targets. While many of the open mazes can be solved like this, you cannot solve a majority of the mazes in this game using this method. This is due to the fact that most of the mazes in Maze are closed mazes with dead ends at every turn. So while this may work for some of the more open mazes with either no dead ends or very few, there are many puzzles in this maze game that have closed loops, which will counter this strategy. What is the best maze strategy? For one, creating as many dead ends as you can would be a good start. Dead ends throw off players, especially when dead ends are placed at the end of the map near the exit. Later in the game you have to move multiple laser beams & some levels (like #24) even have 2 exit targets you must hit.
