There’s a temptation to traverse a lot of distance by drawing big diagonal lines between connecting Stations, but you run the risk of cutting off a lot of the board by doing that. As well as documenting the sounds of the London Underground, by remixing and reimagining every sound it creates an alternative sound world based on the experience and memory of the iconic Tube. Even though I’ve not experienced the metro in this faraway city, I can now at least reimagine the zig and zag of multi-colored lines crossing through districts and passing under the Thames. The objectives are pretty easy to achieve and we’ve not felt that they’ve added much to our sessions with everyone scoring the same for them.The Railroad Switch card makes things interesting, as long as it arrives after the second flipped card. Keep an eye on what Stations are reachable from the ones you’re connecting, and maybe consider moving a different direction to leave yourself options. Lines can not cross another line but and must follow the pre-printed dashed lines on the sheet of paper. Lorna : I’ve played on BGA a few times and it is the kind of a puzzly type game that I usually go for but it is also kind of samey after a few plays.
