The only downpoint with the DVD is that it only contains 2 Balamory stories. However they are longer in length than the programmes so that is some compensation, together with the games and other extras which are also included. I bought this dvd for my granddaughter and she just loves it. Everytime she is in my house this dvd must go on. She just loves christmas and is enthralled whilst watching Seeking Santa. She is 4 years of age. I have to admit that although 65 years of age myself I too also enjoy watching it. The cast of Balamory are wonderful and my granddaughter knows them all by name. I knew when I bought it that she would never have seen it before as being an exclusive episode it has never been shown on the tv. I will certainly be on the lookout for more exciting adventures with our Balamory friends. I bought this dvd for my granddaughter and she just loves it. The show was first confirmed to be in production on 20 November 2001, under the working title of Applecross before it was named Balamory in August 2002. [3] Filming locations [ edit ] One of the other characters (who will be the main character of that episode) tells Miss Hoolie about a problem. This character then sings "Which Coloured House Are We Going To?", asking the young viewers to guess which of the Balamory characters will be most helpful in solving the problem. The main character then proceeds to visit several other characters until the problem is solved. Miss Hoolie and the main character provide a summary of the story at each point, and a final recap at the end of the episode.

Josie Jump (played by Buki Akib in Series 1 & 2 and Kasia Haddad in Series 3 & 4) is a fitness instructor at the primary school next door to Miss Hoolie's nursery school. She plays and coaches all types of gymnastics, sports and dance and is also talented at storytelling through expressive movement and dance. Her main colour is yellow and she lives in a yellow towered house.

She has seen most episode but this one had never been on T.V. it may have been by now but we have not seen it so that made it better than any of the VHS videos we have bought although she loves thmem all. its good family fun, and has lovely music and songs in, all in all brilliant buy 100% worth the money.
