It was already a surprise that the power bank had two Input ports, but it was even better that there were two recharge ports for the power bank. This meant that the power bank could recharge faster, and considering its very high capacity, it made sense to implement two recharge ports.

I’m always on the go, and my phone is almost constantly dying on me. I don’t like being tethered to a wall outlet, so I went in search of a portable charger that could keep up with my lifestyle. After doing some research, I decided on the Anker PowerCore+ 26800. If you’re searching for a power bank that can offer a very high capacity, and once that’s able to charge many devices simultaneously, we can’t recommend this power bank enough. High-capacity portable chargers aren’t something new, but they’re becoming more popular by the way they’re executed. Some companies take the easy way out and limit features to their power banks. It’s a mini disappointment and doesn’t disrupt the entire charging experience. Lastly, the power bank has two Micro-USB Inputs that make the power bank charge 2x faster with doing 4 Amps of recharge and can recharge fully in about 6-7 hours.Even a configuration like 2 iPads and a smartphone may put the power bank over the 6 Amp output, and as a result, all the charging ports may charge at 2 Amps each. Overall, the PowerCore 26800 power bank can charge at 4 Amps of Input power, and you can expect a full recharge within about 6-7 hours. We recommend using a wall charger with a 2.0A output or higher.

It’s one of their highest capacity portable chargers and it’s also one of their most useful and high-quality ones, too. So let’s take a look if you should be purchasing one of the most powerful portable chargers that the best brand charging tech brand has to offer. Power Power Capacity: You can expect a full charge from this power bank within 6-7 hours, and we think that’s great timing because if the power bank had a single Micro-USB Input, then recharge time would be doubled. Double the Recharging We’re not sure how Anker managed to do it, but the charging cable used to connect the power bank stayed very strongly throughout each of the 3 ports. The two Micro-USB Input ports functioned perfectly as well.The best part of these monstrous power banks is that they usually have the latest charging tech and multiple ways to charge your devices. The USB-A ports output at a standard 5V/2.4A. Technically it's 5V/3A, but the vast majority of devices are only capable of 5V/2.4A. The best thing about Anker’s power banks is that they don’t feature side things or “Bonus” features like flashlights, not because they can’t but because they want to provide the necessities and improve upon those. That’s what the design is like. The build of the PowerCore is highly similar to that of the PowerCore 20100, as we stated before how the 26800’s design is similar to the 20100. It’s a very minimal power bank and you won’t find any flashlight on any of Anker’s power banks and we kind of like that approach as it’s simplistic and shows that it has a sole purpose, which is charging.

That said, Anker/Nintendo’s officially licensed PowerCore 20100 for the Switch by definition is “Optimized for Flawless Compatibility with Nintendo Switch” This statement is intentionally vague and offers no actual useful information that would allow consumers to make an informed decision when spending 60 dollars vs half the price for the non-Nintendo branded variant. I have two questions for you Anker - The 3 Output ports are lined up horizontally together. The two Micro-USB Inputs are placed vertically, which is an uncommon design but a welcome one because it looks like it was done to make the power bank’s width short. Two for the price of one, this bundle is perfect if you like to always have one on hand or even keep a couple in different bagsGet freedom from your wall for over a week. PowerCore 26800 provides almost 10 iPhone 8 charges, 6.5 Samsung Galaxy S8 charges or multiple charges for almost all tablets and other USB devices. For the most part, you’re really able to use 20,000mAh of the capacity on this charger and even though that’s quite a bit lower than what it starts out with, you’re able to still able to do a lot with that much output capacity. For example, if you’re charging a smartphone, and since most smartphones now have a 3,000mAh battery or at least close to it, you can very well charge a Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9, or iPhone X to their full power about 6 times. So if you’re only using this power bank to charge a single smartphone then it can very well last you for a whole week without needing to be recharged The build quality of this PowerCore+ 26800 portable charger is very good because it comes from Anker’s PowerCore+ line which generally has a better build. The better build means that this entire power bank is made of Aluminum, while regular Anker power banks (Not PowerCore+ ones) are simply made of plastic. Tech:

Although it’s not the most reliable if you’re taking it out for a walk, it’ll do wonders if you’re at a destination, have it one spot, and be using it. It’s a big and heavy power bank that tries its best to be portable, and although it fails to be portable in the hands, it’s still very portable as a destination charging power.
