This actually smells nice and … light? airy??.. I remember my first thought was “ Guilty? How exactly?!” I needed a bit of time to make sense of it, to put it in a category but I just couldn’t… The first burst from the bottle is amazing! And it lasts around 10-15 minutes, then as it starts to dry down and on me it turns very masculine and what is worse - I get no lilac note on me, or something very minimal and synthetic that doesn`t remind me of lilac at all..It doesn`t give me the impression that I`m smell `guilty` either, which is another problem. Other notes are well and present but the combination of it all just doesn`t work on me..It could be lovely if the top notes were different or better quality? Guilty is a predominantly lilac fragrance on me, with a bit of spice from the pink pepper and some mild, fruity, nectar like undertones from the peach, theres also a bit of powdery musk similar to the musk used in Narciso Rodriguez For Her. It reminds me a little bit of how make-up smells actually, but in a good way.

Clean masculine elegance right here . The original Guilty edt but he's all grown up now, salt and pepper hair and beard. It's so rare - and welcomed - to have a scent profile like this be aimed at the 35+ crowd.Weather -For more or less any time of year.Best in spring and summer.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days. This scent is remarkably successful in attaining two goals: First off, it has a certain bulk to the fragrance cloud as well as a bright aspect. Also the Violet is so nice and the Heliotrope is like a really satisfying confection or pastry. I think the Heliotrope adds the "bulk". Originally tried this a few years ago when a buddy of mine got some free Guilty samples from a customer that he was doing some work for. I thought the shower gel and cologne smelled incredible at the time, and I thought about buying a whole bottle. A couple years later, I'm looking online for a new cologne as I just ran out of all the stuff I use. This cologne was the FIRST thing that came to my head, but something inside of me was telling me to just get a sample size.... So I got a whole bunch of samples from MicroPerfumes to see what I like. And boy was I happy that I got a bunch of other stuff, because I found that when compared to a whole bunch of other things, this was actually near the bottom-middle of my list. It's not bad by any means, it's just very boring to me. Not at all like I remember it a few years ago. It just smells like another typical male lavender based fragrance with the Gucci emblem slapped on it in a cool bottle, there are plenty of better ones out there. On the bright side... I can kind of thank this fragrance for re-introducing me to the fragrance world again, after testing so many different products I realize that you can't just have one... kind of like my sneaker collection. A fine fragrance, I don't dislike it. It's just nothing special and doesn't live up to the hype that I once gave it. I don't really smell the notes listed here. It's fresh and aromatic, somewhat woody, and dries down to a very absent and fleeting smell. Completely different from the top. After an hour all I get is very very light woods. Naturally, anyone over-familiar with fragrance crafting would think that this is a take on a gin essence—and with that—that this was intended to be marketed to the British. Smashing. Can't say it entirely has that feel though. This is a beautiful fragrance. Generic, yes, but beautiful all the same. The orange and vanilla really come out to play on my skin, with an aura of lavender and patch, making this very masculine but slightly playful. Its sweetness makes it a year-rounder, but it's just fresh enough to make it really shine in the summer. It skirts this line between casual and formal. I bet this would make a great office scent, if you work in that environment, as it's mostly a skin scent. Today I tried the scent for the 3rd time. And all I can say is - not for me. I kinda think it is my skin that doesn`t want to match with this juice as it should; I refuse to believe that I don`t like this scent, although I really want to..I don't think this smells generic. Bleu De Chanel has become the Generic smelling cologne for me because there are so many that smell like it, Jimmy Choo, Acqua Essenziale, Sauvage etc. This one doesn't smell like Bleu De Chanel, so cross that "generic" description off the list. It smells really good, like almost fruity, but sexy. I have a yuuuge collection and I don't have anything that smells as close to this as all the previously mentioned one's smell to Bleu De Chanel. Seriously, this is a unique fragrance, unless you are comparing it to Gucci Guilty Intense which is supposed to smell like it. This stuff smells good, maybe familiar, but it is original.

The difference here is the orange blossom, rendered so differently than normal, it is not fresh or fluffy or indolic but instead just a slightly honeyed warmth that blends perfectly and leaves Guilty Parfum smelling brighter and warmer than Cooper Square, Zino, and others, which makes it much more friendly and to my nose, enjoyable. The bottle is crafted of cold metal and heavy glass, making an impression of masculinity and luxury. Paired with the feminine edition, all splendid and golden, cabochon grey male bottle seems very elegant and alluring. The middle of the bottle is decorated with a metallic Gucci sign, transparent to reveal the fragrant fluid. I probably haven't been involved with fragrances quite long enough to realize what it is that garners all the animosity towards Gucci Guilty. Maybe, it's like Dior, a company that makes very original and stand out works of art type designer fragrances, suddenly went all out mainstream. Perhaps, this is viewed as "selling out", in some way. I get that. Before I was really into fragrances, I liked a lot of the Tom Ford created Yves St. Laurent stuff, then I found everything after he left L'homme to be, just not what I liked.OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, gym, office, business, casual, holidays, vacations, romantic, dating. This is an office-friendly fragrance. Gucci Guilty Cologne’s reception seems to be lukewarm overall, and while I can understand the bar being set fairly high by the three prior releases of 2017 and 2018—Guilty Absolute Pour Homme / Pour Femme and Guilty Oud—and I agree with some that find there to be a sort of calone-like prominence that makes for a very sharp marine vibe..

NOTE: This is a cologne with surprisingly great durability. Being a cologne it is not as concentrated as a Toilette. Still, keep the faith. This stuff delivers with a hearty spray!!!!Wow, so what to say about this one? Well, I do love it, not just a like for me. The issue is, I like it because of what it intended on doing. Which is old world Italian clean charm. What does that mean.. Well, my grandfather used to wear certain fragrances that had a very medicinal minty fresh vibe, like a "gin & tonic", which makes sense with the Juniper berries, bergamot, mandarin and cypress found here. So, as I'm wearing it, I get that mental image of my grandfather dressed up conducting business and just being a commanding presence. The violet, the cypress and the rosemary with heliotrope and juniper berries create a vibe hard to explain. Some said it smells somewhat medicinal and I can see that. I find the vibe it gives being a gentle metallic, with a little sweetness (probably from patchouli) and some greenness, but both the sweetness and greenness are one with the gentle metallic smell, not on their own (this is very well blended). It does give a fresh vibe when you wear it, but don't think about citrus or floral or herbal freshness, it is a... well, metallic freshness for me. Just try this and you will smell it too.
