There are two other delicious flavours available too - a praline and a tasty malted blonde version. Although this egg is 70% cocoa, it has a really smooth, almost creamy aftertaste, and definitely couldn’t be classed as a bitter dark chocolate. In short, it’s a very easier eater.

When it comes to dark chocolate, you know you’re in safe hands with Montezuma*s – and this is certainly the case with this Easter hen. What: Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpiller - two iconic treats that are getting an Easter makeover from M&S this year. Treat the chocolate lover in your life to a giant Percy Pig or Colin face - the latter is white chocolate, and Percy is milk chocolate so they cover all bases. I then mix in melted butter – you can use baking spread, but sometimes this makes it greasy. If you find your biscuit bases are a little hard, you can reduce the butter to about 100g. Also, if you want to use a chocolate covered biscuit, filled biscuit, light biscuit, or buttery biscuit like shortbread you need to use 100g of butter as well as they require less.
