Using an eighteen dart clip may cause some discomfort, due to the way clips are horizontally fed into the blaster. Our main issue with this blaster is in the performance. While we can forgive the extra weight and firing complexity, as this is aimed at 8+ year olds, we can’t overlook the constant jamming of the firing mechanism. Pretty much every time we load the blaster, at least one of the foam bullets jam, which either means popping the clip fully and digging around inside the chamber with your fingers, or trying to force it through the motorized mechanism for a weaker shot. Neither is much fun. Now you can power up your motor and send darts flying at your opponent. The barrel spins while you fire your darts, which adds an extra excitement with your battles. The blaster also comes with a shoulder strap included for added comfort and increased accuracy when carrying the gun. This blaster is compatible with most Nerf Elite dart clips, and you won’t have any problems purchasing extra ammo for the gun. You will need to get batteries, which are not included, and any other clips and additional darts. The only downside with this gun is that it is recommended for ages 14 and up. Younger kids won't get to experience this joy. While it's excellent, it's not quite at the top because it's slightly bigger than other Nerf blasters and can be difficult for younger kids to handle.

While the Nerf DinoSquad Rex-Rampage blaster looks the part, it’s far from the most reliable Nerf gun out there.
