If you enjoy a fast paced plot with exciting twists and turns, you should definitely check out The Mistake. The suspense and tension literally jumps out from every page, keeping the reader alert and on edge throughout. As the book progressed you found out more and more and ( as an avid reader, been there, seen that 😃 ) cockily I thought I had it worked out.

This thriller starts off really strongly as parents Lucie and Blake Sullivan reluctantly agree to allow their nine year old daughter Grace to walk from her friend Olivia's home on her own. Full of unexpected twists and turns, you are drawn into Josie’s life and how intimidated she feels by Samual’s presence. As darkness falls and rain lashes against the window, there's a knock at my door and I open it to see those same eyes staring back at me. NOTE: I posted this review here the day after I finished it - no idea why it's suddenly not showing up so I'll try again. It is only revealed later that Amber intends to be close to Ben and his kids and does not want Judi seen around them even for a single moment.

The theme of a missing child has been done before a lot but what sets Finding Grace apart from the rest is the engaging writing style and the clever plot twists. But putting aside my gripe with publishers who insist on overhyping books, Finding Grace was only a little better than average read for me. When the people in town start gossiping of Samuel's coming release, Josie doesn't know about it yet.
