The first thing that I noticed after developing the first roll was the pink / magenta cast on most of the film. I think a good place to test this out would be a sunny day at the beach, with the strong light and bright sands giving the film the perfect excuse if it couldn’t handle it.

Its greens, bronzes and yellows are lovely but it drops a little with blues meaning that it loses blue sky tones easily. Universal, very good value for money colour negative film with 36 exposures and a light-sensitivity of ISO 200/24°. The grain on this film is very apparent, so not great for detailed shots, however it can really add that vintage, washed out look for portraits. Fujifilm 200 features enhanced colour reproduction, great sharpness and benefits from a smooth, classic fine grain. If you shoot your C200 before it expires, you can most likely get away with not storing in your fridge.

I will go there again taking a picture with a different film to find out if the type of light sources are to blame for that or the Fuji 200 film. But I used the same lens on both cameras for the medium and telephoto focal lengths: a Nikkor 50mm f/1. Of course, I wouldn’t leave it in direct sunlight or next to my oven either, but keeping it in a cool, dry cupboard for the relatively short time you have it should suffice. However, to the best of your ability, try to refrain from retouching or editing the photos to ensure that the photos retain the quality of this specific film.
