The person inside him coming out and the invasive soul in him, also great, The champions were suuuuuper underwhelming and the creature that seems to be a huge part of the story i had no idea about until Ghosthound said it'd ran into a dungeon. wasn't explained very well.

So with all that said, the thing that really makes this story stand out to me in this sub-genre is the character work. A lot of this happened in the next four hours, but periodically throughout. Its the way he treats people. The way he looks down on them as weak, like he can't recall what that is like. It's the way he learns a big thing about the system but then just takes that away from thousands of people just to satisfy is curiosity on what a class does. When he gets his answer, doesn't much care for it he dumps off responsibility on a scared kid. I quite literally HATED the MC during this whole period of the book. If the MC is an idiot the rest of the people are somehow worse. Everyone worshiping the MC is just a bit much, yes he's strong and cool but whispering his name in reverence every time anyone thinks he's involved is just a bit too much. How is it that nobody can seem to figure out stats without MC showing up to guide them? A month in and people are teaching blatantly wrong information as gospel fact but MC spots the flaw in seconds. MC's ex goes on a rant about boring things peacefully proceeds to almost get killed but is saved by MC then proceeds to believe there was a peaceful solution, while also having lived through the first day where she saw people get ripped apart left and right for no reason.

From a writing standpoint, the story started a bit rough. The proofreading was solid, but the writing itself was clunky. It improved as the book went on (the story was originally released as a web serial) and I think I also just got used to it. While the writing was awkward, it never detracted from my understanding of what was happening, which was the most important thing. The world building is immersive and the plot progression is not something that I could progress. MS doesn't lead or make decisions for humanity. He gives them the way and leaves it up to them to follow successfully or not, which I felt was a brilliant take on the genre. In this book, he become the 'leader' of the raid and due to that he spends most of his time just standing there doing nothing and watching others or watching as things happen. Even when he should just kill everyone before him, he'd rather just watch and ' see what happens' because he has no clue what to do at all. Silo leveled up his class by absorbing an image from the ring his uncles had given him. Absorbing this ring image polluted the image of the class, but Silo was ready to become a monster if it would help him achieve his goals.He was a tall man of lean muscles and dark hair to his shoulders. He was strangely pale of skin, but otherwise he seemed like an unimpressive spear user. The only detail that revealed his infuriating strength was his vivid emerald eyes.
