I’ve currently got in the works a secret project for you. Several members of the HeroQuest community have gotten together to interview a very special person with great importance to the history and story of HeroQuest. Tabby and Imogen come home to Sidney lounging on the couch. As they make small talk, Sidney asks if there's anything special Imogen wants for Thanksgiving or traditions she wants to uphold. While it's sweet, the Adams's weren't big on Thanksgiving. They volunteered at the soup kitchen, instead. Imogen agrees to do it earlier in the week so the family can have Thanksgiving together. Once in Tabby's room, the girl realizes they're dealing with a serial killer and a serial rapist, while her mom is thinking about Thanksgiving. Imogen wants to look through her moms yearbooks to see if any of the signatures match. It's not just about Angela Waters or A, it's also about her mom and how she's connected to all the pieces. That afternoon, when everyone else has gone, Imogen joins Tabby in her room, softly asking what the thing with her and Tyler last night was really about. Tabby begins to confess that, in the summer, there was a party in the woods. She confesses something happened to her. Imogen confides in her that something happened to her as well. She knows her mom didn't kill herself and was murdered. He lobs questions at her - how, by whom, and why come to him now months after the fact. She likens her need to know what happened in that bathroom to him wanting to know what happened to Karen those rafters. If there is even a chance that her mother didn't choose to leave her, that would make all the difference in the world. After looking at a photo of his daughters, he tearfully agrees to help her, but needs the consent of an adult, Davie's next of kin. She asks if her father qualifies.

Spirit Queen’s Torment, written by Teos Abadia, challenges heroes to investigate the ruins of Wyvern’s Keep for clues to help Mentor understand a dangerous new spell being used by Zargon’s forces. Imogen’s the next student to visit the principal’s office. He informs her that Karen has recused herself from Spirit Queen. He adds that he owes her and Tabby an apology because Karen confessed. Since no one else is running, he congratulates her for winning Spirit Queen, tossing in “Like mother, like daughter.”

Thursday, October 1st: Tabby and Imogen are promoting the Jordan Peele double-feature while also campaigning for Imogen to win Spirit Queen when the infamous Karen walks in. She can’t believe the principal is letting Imogen run for Spirit Queen after what they did. Tabby tells her they didn’t do it and asks if she has anything she wants to confess. Karen wonders why she would have anything to confess to and reveals she’s going to the double-feature at the theater. (Tabby and Imogen’s reverse psychology worked.)One last part of the puzzle was revealed by Avalon Hill Employees. The Cadre of the Raven Veil. Cadre of the Raven’s Veil clue. Avalon Hill/Hasbro Imogen is a interesting mix between Hanna Marin, Spencer Hastings and Alison DiLaurentis. Imogen, like the three girls, was once part of the popular clique at their respective schools. Specifically Imogen, like Alison, was/is the pretty and blonde leader of the group of liars. She's also is just as smart as Spencer, and she has an attitude of a investigator and leader girl. And finally, from Hanna, Imogen gets her desire for redemption from her physical condition and the resulting trauma (being pregnant from a rape in her case, rather than being previously fat and bullied for it like Hanna) by openly challenging Karen's popularity and running for prom's Spirit Queen selection against her. In the bathroom, Davie tells the girls that Angela is lying about what happened. The girls wonder if she isn't lying, with Davie calling them dense as it's clear Angela's just trying to get attention, like always. Corey and Sidney thinks it's different this time, angering Davie who doubles-down that Angela's out of control. They need to teach her a lesson. They have to ignore her, pretend that she doesn't exist. They're going to erase Angela Waters. But not just them, everyone else too. They'll turn Angela into a ghost, making her invisible as if she were nothing.

Imogen and her new friends plan revenge against their shared enemy while Karen and Kelly devise their own scheme. The generic "they" I presume is because since there are now explicitly female Orc models, whatever you have left is used for the character so it's a placeholder (could be male or female). I wouldn't personally read any more into it. It's probably the way reason they make Zargon's gender unspecified (because it could be a little girl playing the GM). Frankly I'm all for imagination and "playing a role" but that's me, I'm guessing that was their thought process there. The original KK I believe had one Fimir that could cast rust spells and they referred to the Fimir as "it" which is odd (all the others are referred to in the generic masculine). In Warhammer fantasy lore I discover that magic using Fimirs are usually female. So who knows. Emily Fields' book counterpart also had a teenage pregnancy introduced in the novels that was not translated to the television adaption.Like Mother, Like Daughter: Said word for word by Principal Clanton when he tells Imogen that she's going to be Spirit Queen like her mom was after Karen drops out. It ends up having a guilty effect on her as Imogen thinks about how her mom would've disapproved of what she did to Karen if she was still alive. A very angry Karen finds Imogen and screams at her, “You kissed my boyfriend?!” That gets the attention of the partygoers. After Imogen corrects her that he kissed her, Greg rushes in blaming Imogen. It’s no surprise that Karen believes him over Imogen and reacts by calling Imogen a slut and telling her to leave.
