I love this version because it’s not overly sweet. It’s just nice and purely chocolatey, yet with very few ingredients. FOUR ingredients, in fact – okay, five if you count the water! Sugar, water, double Dutch dark cocoa powder (the secret to make it rich and delicious), salt and vanilla extract are the only ingredients need to make this delicious, rich chocolate syrup at home. Chocolate and coffee are a match made in heaven, so creating your chocolate syrup for coffee is your shortcut to celestial flavours. Try it with a brew made from dark roast beans to complement the nuttier flavour profile. Use white chocolate. Instead of baking cocoa, used chopped white chocolate. Doing so will give you an entirely different and delicious flavor profile. Vanilla Extract - Vanilla extract enhances the overall taste and aroma of the chocolate syrup. Surprisingly, chocolate doesn't taste right without a little vanilla in the mix, so don't skip this!

However, do note that they use Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate and colourings in their products, so it’s not all sunshine and rainbows (even if using their syrups will give you a slimmer waistline.) Some users also report a mild laxative result from overuse (this is from several cups per day – going for one or two is perfectly safe!), so do watch out for any… irregularities in your habits.
