Death by Burrito – a contemporary Mexican grill and cocktail bar conceptualised by Shay Ola of fine-dining and events group the Rebel Dining Society – is set to open at the Catch bar in Shoreditch this September.

We set about the wraps, the tacos, the ‘deconstructed guacamoles’ and assorted tortillas, like recently-freed, hitherto-starved beasts.

A pool table in the back, lively, (and more importantly) friendly staff and a frozen apricot, tequila cocktail that will convert even the staunchest blueberry Slush Puppy fans are all endearing qualities.
