Cystocalm has been formulated with an active ingredient known as sodium citrate, which specifically helps to make your urine less acidic. When the acidity of your urine is lowered, symptoms from cystitis are reduced, ensuring you do not feel the same level of pain, stinging or burning sensation. It also in turn, produces a harsher environment for bacteria and prevents them from thriving. Cystcocalm has a cranberry flavour that can be mixed into a tasteful drink to alleviate your discomfort with a 2 day treatment.
